Semua Bab Disguised As My Twin Brother At All-Alpha Royal Academy: Bab 41 - Bab 50

ALORA"I heard you did great at the practice game with the boys from the other Alpha academy." Noah started small conversations as we both made our way to class the next day."You heard? Who told you?" I asked teasingly. "Are you stalking me now?""As if I could." He answered with a smug grin. "But still, I hope you win at the competition. You've put in a lot of effort and working with Kalix isn't exactly easy if you ask me.""It isn't exactly easy working with me either. I'm as difficult as he is if we're being honest." I said with a brow raise. Yesterday was a pretty scary day and I don't want to relieve it ever again. I was this close to Kalix finding out my secret.I wonder why he's so obsessed with wanting to know what I'm hiding. Am I too obvious in my Caden act? And if he thinks like that then what are the odds of the others not joining in anytime soon."True but well," Noah continued. "The competition will be over soon and then you can take a break from each other if you like.

ALORA"Are you ready for the big game today?" Noah asked as I tied up my shoe laces. It's been one week of constant practice, blending in and lying low and I honestly don't know what to feel today if I'm being honest. This is my first time competing in a big game such as this one. It's scary yet exhilarating at the same time. Noah had mentioned that there will be a lot of sports and a lot of people will come to watch. I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of exposure especially when my brother has a good record that I might not be able to beat."I think I'm ready and you?" I asked glancing at him and he shrugged as he tied up his hair so that they don't fall on his face."About the games no but what if I find my mate in the crowd? That's the part that's scary." He said."What will I even say to her if it happens?"I rolled my eyes. "Buddy, at least let it happen before you start thinking of other possibilities. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.""Easy for you to say, you're

ALORA"Hey Caden, wake up!" I felt someone aggressively shaking me, tapping me to respond but I couldn't. "Open your fucking eyes!" Came the persistent voice again but still nothing.I tried to move my hands to make a slight reaction to show that I was hearing them speak but I still couldn't. It felt like I was trapped inside my own body. Then they leaned close and I could literally feel their breath on my skin before they pulled away."Monkshood?" They uttered in shock and the next thing I knew, I was being carried. My hands wrapped around their shoulder. I was unconscious but my body was still in motion.I hear the voices of everyone surrounding me but I couldn't make out who they were. It felt like my senses were dull and my whole body numb. The running stopped and I felt whoever carrying me slowly place me on a soft like material that resembled a bed."What happened to him?" I heard the voice of someone ask. It was distant, like an echo but not too distant so I could hear in prope

ALORA"Here Kalix, try this." Ava said and placed her carefully cut out bite sized meat on Kalix's plate with a big smile on her face. After the games came to an end, I agreed to join them for lunch after coach gave us permission to go. Noah had insisted that he came with us too and since I allowed it, no one opposed to it.At least I had a familiar face to keep me company while I put myself through the torture of watched them act like lovebirds in front of me. I know that I shouldn't have come here but part of me didn't feel right sitting back at school while Kalix was on a date with another girl that's not me.Gosh! Is this was jealousy feels like? But why the hell am I even jealous of them? I was the one who rejected my engagement ceremony and ran off to death so Kalix didn't really owe me anything.Besides, it's not like Kalix is that great of a guy to have me swung over him. If he wasn't terrible then I wouldn't have called it off but then again, who am I kidding?"Does it taste

ALORA"Caden!" Someone screamed out my name but my head is too occupied to figure out who it is. I felt myself shaking as fear and dread washed over me.My eyes were fixed on the upcoming vehicle that I had to shut them at some point. Just as I braced myself for impact, someone held my hands and forcefully pulling me away at the nick of time before the truck drove past us on full speed. My head was slammed against the person's chest as they held me protectively, with their arms wrapped around my head tightly as they turned around so that the dirty water from the ground wouldn't splash on me but them instead.I remained there for a while, shivering, shaking, teeth clattering and clenching. My whole body trembled from fright as I tried to gain composure before I was pushed away from whoever had rescued me."Do you have a death wish?" He yelled and I slowly looked up to see Kalix fuming angrily at me.He was completely drenched from the rain just like me but his was a bit worse because o
