***Olivia's POV*** Anger burned like wildfire in my veins as I stormed out of Sheryl’s room, her laundry clenched tight in my hands. Knox had walked in mid-argument on is, just in time to hear her poisonous little lie. That I’d attacked her simply because she’d shown me where her laundry was and I didn't want to do them. Of course, it wasn’t true. But Knox, with his unexplainable hatred for me, didn’t hesitate to believe her. He’d twisted my wrist and ripped dress so hard I thought it might snap, then shoved me out of the room with a warning that he’d kill me if I ever touched or “crossed” Sheryl again. And behind him, that witch had laughed. Smirked and stuck her tongue out like a petty child, mocking me as though she’d already won. All because I'd told her what she'd been shying away to admit to herself. That fate had chosen me and not her for the Alpha heirs. Not that I believed my words myself but because I wanted her to feel hangry about not getting what she's always want
