บททั้งหมดของ Forbidden Desire: Tempted By My Stepbrother: บทที่ 61 - บทที่ 70

AutumnI tried to stay away from my mum, basically because the last thing I wanted to do was help her plan some damn arrival of Dante’s fiancée, and judging from the little that Camille had said about her, I really didn’t want to meet her, but it was mid-noon already, and I hadn’t heard a single word from Dante on the flight he promised to book for me.The door was burst open and my mum walked in, much to my despair.“Up, Autumn!” She declared and I groaned loudly.“Are you even aware that I am leaving today?” I asked, somehow placing some crazy hope that Dante was doing something about it.“I thought you were joking about it,” she said, her eyes wide with shock.“No, mum, I barely joke about anything, but then again, you don’t even know that about me,” I stated, but as usual, she dismissed it.Her shoulders sagged sadly.“But why would you do this to me?” She asked sadly, almost guilt-tripping me. “We are supposed to spend some mother-daughter moments together, but you just want to r

AutumnWith what Mateo said, I just couldn’t continue acting all hard and upset. There was something about the man’s demeanor and aura that just made it a little difficult to disobey him.I didn’t like him, and I was jealous for how happy he was making my mum feel, but I just couldn’t act on my own wish again. After he left, I took some moment to reflect a little on what he said.“What’s the worst that could happen?” I asked myself. “I can still leave anyway, I just have to help her with whatever she wants,” I said. And with that, I got up and walked out of the room. I went straight to the kitchen, thinking I would find her there, but instead, I found Camille and the other kitchen helps.“Has she been here?” I asked Camille.“No, she hasn’t,” Camille answered. “I think she might be in her bedroom,” she told me.“Then I better check on her,” I said and left. When I arrived at her bedroom door, I knocked, but as soon as my knuckles touched the door, it opened; an evidence that it wasn’t

AutumnWe continued with the planning, and Camille did have a lot of suggestions to make, but I didn’t feel entirely comfortable with most of her ideas even though I wasn’t certain if she was being genuine with them or not.“Last time I checked, she loved lilies. I think some of them should be placed on the dining table. Aside from the obvious beauty it would give, it is going to make her excited, and maybe eager to eat,” Camille suggested.“That is a brilliant idea,” my mum said as she began to write it down. She had been commending all of Camille’s ideas. As a matter of fact, Camille had been the one mostly bringing all the ideas while I just sat there and my mum eagerly and willingly accepted every single one of them.My phone rang just then, and when I saw that it was Susan, I knew I wanted to take it.“Excuse me, mum, can I take this?” I asked her.“Right now?” She asked me with her displeased voice. “We are at the height of getting everything done and you want to take a call?” S

DanteI poured myself a drink and gulped everything in at once.“Having a bad day?” Dominic asked.“You cannot even begin to imagine,” I responded.I poured another drink, and this time around, I poured another glass for Dominic and gave it to him, and he took it from me.“Is this about your fiancée?” Dominic asked.“She is not my fiancée,” I countered immediately as I downed the entire drink again. When I reached for a second round, Dominic stopped me. “I think you are having enough, and you don’t want her to come and find you drunk,” he advised me.“I don’t care about her, Dominic,” I stated. The more I thought about her, the tighter the knot in my stomach became. I hadn’t seen, heard from, or spoken to Maria in a really long time, and quite frankly, I had completely forgotten about her, but now, she had been resurfaced as though a measure to torment me with.“You know you don’t have a choice here,” Dominic reminded me.“Are you trying to be as annoying as David?” I asked.“No one

AutumnI had seen beautiful women, but the woman who just waltzed in was beyond beautiful. Using that word to describe her was like committing an offense against her looks. She had the body and height of a model. The helps rolled in boxes upon boxes, as though she was moving in, and my mum was almost bursting with delight. Meanwhile, Camille just stood there and stared at her. Well, I was also staring at her, but it was in total awe. With a small mix of jealousy.Jealous that a woman could be looking this deliciously gorgeous.“Hello!” My mum greeted with excitement. She immediately attempted to hug her, but she put forth a hand, stopping my mum. I would be very embarrassed, but my mum was too excited, and probably wanted to impress Dante and his father so much that if she spat on her, my mum would blush.“Hi,” she simply said with a small smile.Gosh, her voice…How could any woman be this perfect? If I had caught Abel cheating on me with someone half as beautiful as Dante’s fiancée,
