AsherI couldn't say a word, I just stood there and watched as Ruby scrolled through her phone in a hurry. I didn't understand what she was doing until a car stopped, and she hopped in without hesitation. I watched the car zoom off and till it was completely out of sight. Everything felt like a dream. Ruby and I have had a few fights since we got married but tonight was different. I felt totally out of control and place. Especially when she asked why I was stalking her. I had not thought about it that way, but she was right, I was indeed stalking her. How else will I explain leaving the office in a hurry just to drive round the city in search of my wife that was not even missing to start with? “Damn it, Asher! What's happening to you?” I muttered to myself as I paced the empty road. After Ruby refused to eat with me in the morning, I was a bit mad and that just overturned my morning.
