The whole of Blackcroft was a huge magical space between the three realms. However in here particularly, power throbbed in the air. The walls were layered with rune parchments, circles, and essence. Some glowed faintly as if they were alive while others were dark and waiting to be awakened. It was there, tucked between the forgotten diagrams that I had first uncovered the intricate design I used to create my disk array. With a single thought, the runes could shape raw essence into nearly anything: magical arrays, invisible pouches, endless spaces, swords, enchanted houses hidden in pocket realms, forests that grew themselves in minutes, traps, safe sanctuaries where time bent slower than reality, and even Siphons. I didn't know what to make but I knew I needed to make something he would like. Something profitable. Something that could fetch me more than his down payment.
