The next morning I wake up at 5am to shower, dress, make a large breakfast, prepare Tom’s clothes and day. I need him to let me leave. I might not know how to escape him yet, but I know I’ll need as many outside resources as possible.By 6:45am April slumps into the kitchen yawning. His eyes had gone blurry from staring at the small text from his documents and computer. His optometrist had instructed he use warm compresses and special eye drops regularly, but he’d been continuously too busy to do this.This was something that – once upon a time – Chloe would’ve been diligent about making him do. Wet Morning

I feel when Tom gets out of bed in the morning but I don’t follow him. Yesterday, I made breakfast and prepared him for his day but all I got was punished. I wouldn’t be making that mistake again.
