“I can’t believe you would want that ugly disgusting thing in our palace.” Mona said, cornering Jerry as he made his way to the conference room. “And I can’t believe you would be so mean to a child in public.” Jerry snapped. “A Luna is supposed to have compassion. Luckily there was a pack member who had it. Maybe you should learn some from her.” Mona’s face reddened. “How dare you suggest that worthless thing is better than me!” She fumed. “I don’t have time for this. In case you didn’t hear, Zombie Kingdom has fallen and we maybe next.” He walked past her. She glared at him hatefully. “Well done.” Frank said coming up behind her, “you seem determine to push him away, keep this up and you will.” “But father –“ “I have an important meeting to attend, I’m sure you are not too childish to understand that.” He pushed past her, boiling she marched to her room. As soon as Jerry sat down all the Alpha’s began talking at once, each one anxious to offer a solution to the cr

“I think you were too harsh mother.” Hexora said softly. “I think she wasn’t harsh enough.” Sangris thundered. “If only we were allowed to intervene in earthly affairs, I’d put a sword in that arrogant fool Dusk myself! Look what his recklessness has caused.” The Moon Goddess and her two remaining children were in the Moon Realm, trying to decide how to move forward from the latest tragedy. Morava’s petrified remains, just like Lykara had been taken to The Eternal Sanctuary. “We should leave them to enjoy the disaster they’ve brought on themselves.” Sangris continued. “We mustn’t be too hard on them. They are mortals, and foolishness is in their nature.” Hexora reminded him. “They will pay for their foolishness.” “So will we. If our brother enchants all the kingdoms we will be destroyed too, who then will stop him from taking over the Moon Realm?” “Your sister is right.” The Goddess said, speaking for the first time. She sighed. “As much as my creatures anger me, I canno

“Could it be Ferrivor?” Marge murmured the thought in everyone’s mind. “Perhaps.” Reyna muttered. She said aloud to Nandip. “Are you alone? Or did others follow you?” “We are alone your Majesty. We entered your kingdom hoping for substances for my wife. She is very exhausted and near her time.” Everyone was quiet. Strangers from another realm weren’t very welcome, but it would be wicked to send a pregnant woman away? Then Doda gave a small groan and sank to her knees. Nandip was quickly by her side. “Is she alright?” Hane asked. “It happens when she hasn’t had a good meal.” Nandip said with concern. “Take her to rest in the solar and find her something to eat.” Reyna ordered. "You wait outside please. We’ll delibrate and get back to you.” She told Nandip. Husband and wife bowed and departed. “We should send them away.” Lara said immediately. “They are not one of us. Such creatures shouldn’t be in our kingdom.” “I agree with Lady Lara.” Marge said. “I don’t trust the

"Relax, the birth will be over in no time." "Has my husband been informed?" Elena asked. "I had a servant pass on the message. Let me give the lady some wine to help her relax." Drianna suggested. "Do that." The midwife agreed. "No, water. I won't be able to hold down anything else." Elena said. Drianna poured a glass of water and held it to her lips. Then she poured another glass and handed it to the midwife. "Have some, you are sweating profusely." She said. "Thank you." The midwife drained the glass. The bells began to ring, announcing a royal baby was about to be born. "Let me go and get more towels." Drianna said, picking up a basket. She left, a half smile on her face, and hurried to the stables. Kip was there, he smiled when he saw her, but his eyes were anxious. "Dri-" "I need it now." Drian
