Luigi’s POVWeaving through the throngs of people that had shown up to pay their condolences to Benjamin, I did my best to greet them all. Willow sat in the corner, exhausted, but doing much better than she’d been doing all week.I’d actually started to worry about, to really worry. She spent most of the week in bed, crying, unable to get up. But at the cemetery, she’d taken a turn. Somehow, she’d regained her strength. And now she thanked whoever went over to her, with a weak smile, but a smile nonetheless.“It was a beautiful service,” my mother told me as I went to check on the food.“It was,” I replied. “But we never could have done all this without you. I’m so, so grateful.”My mother nodded and wrapped me into a hug.“How’s Willow doing?” she asked. Wandering back into the parlour, we both looked at Willow.
