I shake my head and focus on my new recruits. We've been here since sun up, and I've been working with them, but mostly I'm observing. I brought them all to the gym... I guess it's my gym now because Trey said I needed it for the job... He is right. I wanted to see what they've got.I want to make sure if there is an uprising again, or some sort of rebellion once Trey and Cal are officially crowned, they will be ready to defend us with their lives... Not that I won't be on the front lines too. It's my job, to protect the world of magic, our new Royal couple, (No way in hell am I letting someone hurt my little sister!) and my family with my life.My guys are young and eager to train. I'm pleased. If they were older, they'd be stuck in their ways and their pride would get in the way of what I want to teach them. That was exactly what I was scared of. It sounds like an out-dated form of government, but it's the way it turned out. In case no one had noticed for short time the world had been dying, and it wasn't restricted to one area. It was everywhere.As Royals Trey and Cal will be able to look after everyone... and probably appoint others as councilors to watch over certain areas, help grow the magic in our communities, handle ancient rituals if they feel the need to bring them back, and punish those who were involved in the poison magic and get everyone to work together and heal the land... They really do have a lot weighing on their shoulders.But that's not my assignment. It's Knox and Nadia's problem dealing with the healing land. Mine is to inform those in different areas about the new change in leadership. We probably could'a sent out an email, but who the hell reads emails like that without tossing them in the trash? Knox's POVFor the last couple of weeks, Nadia and I have been spreading our time between the forest and the hospital... I'm a bit stretched thin. But I gotta admit, it feels really good to be doing something that will bring back life to our little neck of the woods. Slowly but surely, nature is starting to take back what it has lost.We've been cleansing the water and streams... I wish I had Kody's power. That would totally rock. Let's just say Jaxx was pissed off! He came to see us, storming through the hospital doors. He gave them an earful and had them on cleaning duty for the next month... as soon as they were released.But Jaxx has healing magic and could've healed them if he wanted to, but he didn't. He wanted them to think about the consequences of doing dumb things... not his actual words. The guy was cussing up a blue streak! Man, I didn't even know some of those words existed!However, my mate took pity on the boys and healed them... Thankfully neither of them had to get naked to do it, or I'd have some major issues with it! There are some instances where you have to get naked for a fairy to heal you. Fox has been really supportive of everything. He never brings anything up about the whole fight we had, and me ditching him for her. I'm pretty sure he feels just as guilty as I do about forgetting Candi. But I think he is just glad to have our bond back. She did that for us.
