ADELE'S POV I was left all by myself on the table meant for the Dragovich's, it had been about an hour since Angel walked out without hinting me on where he was headed. Although I sensed something fishy, reading from his eyes a conversation with Yuri, I wondered what exactly they were up to and what my part was in the whole game. ANGEL'S POV My lungs got totally sore the moment Adele angrily walked out through the door. It was pretty obvious she got upset by what I had earlier said although she tried a little to make it look otherwise. My guards were gonna go after her but I signaled for them to stop. I wouldn't by any chance want to raise any suspicion since I knew she definitely was gonna cause a scene if she sees my men following behind her. ADELE'S POVFor the rest of our ride back home, I made sure to keep silent. I wouldn't say a word to him, and made sure my presence remained insignificant to him while he kept his focus on his screen. I had done exactly as I was told. He had asked me to keep up the same energy as before he had referred to me as insignificant, and I made sure to do that. Plastering a smile on my face until my cheek ached, I had no other option and I hated that I had gotten so helpless. I felt extremely embarrassed and mostly defeated after my tears trickled down my face in front of him, it wasn't my assumption, I could clearly see the wave of satisfaction in his eyes once they fell off. ADELE'S POV Ever since I made an entry with Angel to the ball, it had really been so chaotic for me, all of a sudden I had unwanted eyes on me and it was as though everyone was scrutinizing my every move. I was glad he had a good public image so notwithstanding all the evil he was into, he really had a good public relation strategy I must say. That alone saved me from public ridicule and all, at the very least, I wasn't being referred to as the fiance of a criminal, I certainly wouldn't have been able to leave the building if it got to that. Not only that, the studio has been filled up with lots of new clients. All of a sudden, everyone wanted to be a ballet dancer, but I had a limited capacity to accept them all. ADELE'S POVI was enjoying my time with my new students, every since the ball, I had been so choked up I didn't even realize I was in deep shit, the only time it dawned on me was at night, when I got ready to leave work and I had to drive back to Angels house and not mine, the night time became my worst enemy or maybe that was what I wanted to believe. My students were so exciting, they made my day always so fun. First I had personal lessons with Emma and then Kloe and then Bethany and on some occasions Laura came along, she happened to be the least interested of them all. Once it was noon, I began having combined classes. I made sure I only had a single combined class per day and the teens had a higher number of days to meet with me. I therefore became a bit more fond of them, especially Emily. Emily surprisingly was a fun kid, I weirdly found her interesting and often engaged her in conversations, or maybe she was the one who engaged me in conversations, but we mostly were talking.
