~~~~~~~Two Days Later~~~~~~ Arden looked at the empty seat that belonged to Kyle and then he sighed as he looked back at the lecturer. Kyle had been absent yesterday, and now today again? What exactly is wrong with him? Arden thought to himself. Nevertheless, he decided to focus on what the professor was teaching. As if on cue, Kyle rushed into the lecture hall, breathing heavily. Arden frowned when he saw him. “You are late again, Mr Kyle. It’s becoming a habit,” the professor said, clearly displeased. Kyle bowed deeply. “I am truly sorry, Professor.” “Go and take your seat,” the professor said. Kyle nodded and walked forward, sitting in the empty seat beside Arden. “Hi, buddy,” Kyle whispered with a small smile. Arden rolled his eyes and faced forward, pretending not to hear him. Kyle sighed quietly but didn’t say anything more. A few hours later, the lecture ended. Students began to leave the hall, chatting among themselves. Arden packed his books quickly and
