Meanwhile, a black car came to a sudden stop in front of the hospital. Before the car had even completely stopped, James was already out of it. He rushed around to the other side, opened the door, and immediately lifted Amelia into his arms. “Help! Somebody help!” he yelled as he hurried toward the hospital entrance. “Please, we need help!” Several nurses immediately rushed toward him after seeing the unconscious woman in his arms. “Bring a stretcher!” one of them shouted. A wheeler was brought out immediately. James carefully lowered Amelia onto it, and the nurses quickly secured her before rushing her toward the emergency unit. “The alpha is in the car,” James muttered breathlessly.
