SCOTTI lifted my gaze to the sky, feeling the warmth of the sun on my face for the first time since I stepped into that dreadful place. I couldn't tell which tricks those motherfuckers pulled, but they got me locked up in solitary. While others could play out, I didn't see the sunlight… I was locked, doomed to spend the rest of my days in the dark. I had given up all hopes of getting my revenge, of putting my hands on that slutty Omega who kept me in such a situation. Matt. It was funny how I still felt a tug in my stomach each time I thought about him. I should hate him, resent him, and wish him dead. I do, but I still want to make him my bitch, to own every part of him and show him what having a real alpha feels like.Unfortunately, I was locked up, unable to break free from this place unless by some sheer stroke of luck, which I wasn't even counting on until I met him. He was my first visitor. I didn't know the tricks he pulled to get them to allow him visit me, but I would for

He called in a minute as he promised. I took the call, my gaze fixed on Jay and Dad. Dad made an OK motion, and I nodded, placing the phone in my left ear. "Scott."I heard heavy breathing on the other end. He didn't speak. "Scott?"The same heavy breathing. Jay and I exchanged looks. "Scott?""Fuck!" He groaned. "Your voice is... Matt!"My cheeks turned pink as I lowered the volume. Who the fuck wanks to a call? I'd have thought it hot if Jay did that. Someone like Scott? It was damned perverted."Fucking deranged bastard," Jay muttered under his breath. Thankfully, he didn't reach out to take the phone. I closed my eyes, inhaled deeply and pinched the bridge of my nose, while waiting for him to complete whatever thing he was doing."Mark's on it," Dad said.."Scott?" I tried again when his panting became too loud for my liking. "Fuck!"Jay's fists clenched tightly. He looked at the phone before looking at Dad. "What's delaying Mark?" He mouthed, eyes narrowed at him as if Dad

“Matt,” Dad said in warning, eyes narrowed. “You don't get to negotiate this. We're only doing this for your sake. You need to understand that we can't take you with us. As for alerting the authorities, Jay will do that after we're done with Scott.” He looked at Jay before he continued. “It doesn't matter the state they find him in. All they care about is getting him back in prison.” “But —”“Listen to dad, Baby.” Jay placed a kiss on my forehead before hugging me. “We both want you to be safe. We don't want to ever put you in harm's way. Please understand us.”I wanted to argue with them, to ask them to take me with them, but I couldn't, not with how determined they looked. Dad and Jay would never compromise. For the first time since they took me into their family, they denied me something. Dad patted my shoulders gently. “Stay here, okay? You'll be safer. I promise, we'll get him.”I nodded slowly, bit my lip before uttering. “I trust you.”Dad's face lighted in a smile and he nod

JAY“Do you think he would appreciate the way we handled the matter?” Dad asked, taking a sip of the whiskey he poured for himself. “We only told him we got Scott and taught him a lesson. You didn't tell him you castrated the motherfucker and broke his legs.”I lifted my shoulders in a shrug, pouring a glass for myself. “I don't think he would mind if he ever gets to hear of it, but I'm not telling him. All he needs to know is that Scott has been taken care of. Any other thing isn't necessary. He doesn't need it.” There was no need getting graphic over it. The deed has been done. That's all he needs to know. “What if he asks about it? You know how Matt is, don't you? He won't rest until he has gotten the answers he wants. He'll keep asking us about it, and I don't think I can —” “Leave it to me.” I took a gulp of my drink, thinking back to what happened earlier this afternoon when we rushed down to the underground car park of the hotel. If we had known Scott would pull that trick

JAYI had forgotten about Smart and that text he sent that night when I got another one. It was during lunch break. Matt had gone to Dad's office to eat with him, so I went downstairs to the cafeteria. Dad didn't invite me to his office, so it was obvious it was a date for the two of them. One might think Matt's dating dad with the amount of time those two spent together these days. Most times, I felt like the third wheel when dad was supposed to be the one to feel that way! Ugh.How do one get rid of their dad without implicating themselves?“I need your help, Jay. Please. They'll kill me. They're hunting me. I… I don't know where to run anymore. I don't even know whom to call. Please help me! I'm currently in city X.” City X?Frowning, I reread the message, thinking I was wrong. Why was he in the same city as us? First, it was Scott and now, Smart? Why are they rushing to this place like a moth drawn to a flame? What's going on?Like the first text he sent to me, I ignored this on
