Lahat ng Kabanata ng Claimed By The Alpha Biker: Kabanata 61 - Kabanata 70

Jaxon’s POVThere were a lot of things that worried me as Alpha.Lots of things. But none as worse as today. The tournament field stretched before me, golden sand rippling under the morning light. The air was heavy with anticipation. Wolves moved in groups, preparing for the hunt. It should have thrilled me, the energy, the competition, the challenge, but all I could think about was her.Reese.I’d told myself a hundred times she’d be fine. She’d proven herself yesterday. She was strong, quick, calm under pressure. But that didn’t stop the unease twisting through my chest like a slow-burning fire.“She’ll be fine,” I muttered to myself. “She’s not the same girl you used to protect.”Still, my eyes scanned the crowd, looking for her. I caught sight of her near the center, standing beside Kara. The maroon outfit suited her too well, if I were honest and the sight of her should have eased my worry. Instead, it made my heart pound harder.I’d meant the gift to be practical. That’s what I

Sheila’s POVThere was a crowd outside. Each person cheering or laughing or discussing while drinking a cup of cold watered ale. Everyone was waiting for the competitors to return from the hunt and they wanted to know what Rey each competitor brought. Each surviving competitor.Almost everyone was outside. Distracted.Which meant it was the perfect time for me to do what I’d been planning since morning.I slipped away quietly, moving through the crowd without seeming suspicious. No one noticed, most of the guards were gathered by the arena gates anyway. My heart thudded against my ribs as I crept up the stairs leading to the his quarters. Felix’s room was at the end of the corridor, third door to the right. I’d memorized it days ago.The door wasn’t locked. Bold, I thought. Or stupid. Either way, it worked in my favor.I slipped inside, shutting the door behind me as I exhaled, letting my eyes adjust to the dim light filtering through the curtains.“Great work, Sheila,” I muttered

Jaxon’s POVThe laughter from the other Alphas was begining to get on my nerves. There were other pressing issues. What could be taking her so long for goodness sake?I turned to leave for my office when a voice stopped me.“Leaving already, Jaxon?” Gideon called out. “The night’s still young!”“Maybe he’s going to check if his precious mate needs tucking in. Oh wait, she's out there." Marcus added, his words followed by the clinking of mugs and roaring laughter.I keep walking, not bothering to look back. Assholes. Let them think I was soft. They could say what they wanted, not like it mattered. Not when something deep inside me felt this wrong.“I’ll be back shortly." I muttered, keeping my voice even as I walked away.“Sure you will!” someone shouted after me. “Try not to trip over your heart on the way there!”More laughter followed, but I kept walking. My boots echoed against the marble floors, sharp and heavy, matching the rhythm of my pulse. The tension building in my chest wa

Kara's POV.Everything felt heavy. My arms, my legs, even my eyelids. Everything felt hard. My throats felt dry too. Very dry. The noises around were also muffled and loud. I could barely focus on one sound.I felt someone's hands moving fast, checking the cloth tied around my leg. I moved my vision to them and could spot out Nina's figure. I winced lightly as she tugged on the cloth that was soaked red. I grimaced, forcing out a small laugh that came out more like a wheeze.“Well…” I croaked, “at least I’m not dead yet.” Nina didn’t respond. She just pressed her lips together and kept walking.“Wow,” I whispered, “tough crowd.”The helpers pushing my bed didn’t say anything either. They just focused on getting me through the narrow walkway leading to the clinic. The bed rattled over uneven tiles. Each jolt sent sharp pain up my leg, and I had to bite my lip to keep from crying out. When we reached the clinic, I noticed there were a few other beds lined up against the wall, each occu

Jaxon's POVI sighed as I stood in front of her door. It was late. Pretty much late. There literally was no one moving outside.I stood there for a while, my hand hovering in the air as I stared at the door. I didn't know how I knew but I was sure she was still awake.I could turn around, pretend I was never here. But I didn’t.I knocked, once. The sound was soft, but it might as well have been thunder in that quiet hall.“Come in,” came her voice.Even tired, her tone had that same confident roughness that got under my skin.I pushed the door open slowly. She was sitting on a couch, wearing a baggy white shirt with her hair damp. She just had her bath. There was a small bandage on her arm and another on her cheek. Her head turned as I stepped in, and the corner of her mouth lifted.“Well, if it isn’t the Alpha himself,” she said, her voice teasing. “Didn’t think you’d come slumming down to my quarters.”“Don’t start.” I muttered, closing the door behind me.She laughed, soft and lig
