Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Vengeful Luna. Three Alphas : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Elsie POV The night air felt heavier than usual. Cold mist rolled across the courtyard like a living thing, wrapping around the castle walls and making the torches flicker as if they feared what the darkness carried. I had been standing at the balcony far longer than I intended, staring into the abyss as if the answers I sought were hiding in the blackness. It had been days since I made my vow to keep my distance from them—the triplets. I swore I wouldn’t let them touch me, wouldn’t let my body betray me again. But every time their eyes found mine, every time their scent brushed against my skin, my will cracked like fragile glass. And yet… that wasn’t the worst part. Tonight, something was wrong. I felt it in the prickling of my skin, in the way the shadows whispered at the edges of the night. A storm was coming. I turned to leave the balcony when the air shifted, as though the wind itself held its breath. That was when I heard it. “Elise…” The voice wasn’t human. It slid agains

Elsie POV. I remembered the faces of the princes, especially Damon who felt threatened, perhaps, of my adamant behaviour. There was no use hiding Keiran after what happened with the rogues. This time, I was going to show them not to trifle with me. The triplets didn't come over again and I slept soundly, completely feeling triumphant. I believed they would think twice before getting a head on with me. Or so I thought. The morning sun had barely broken through the thick clouds when I felt the domineering presence of Damon in my room. My eyes shot out in annoyance and a streak of rebellion was etched perfectly in between. I got up, yawning with no regard for his presence. Through the corner of my eyes, I watched him sipping a hot cup of coffee patiently. Not even a murmur or recognition of my presence in my own room. I bite hard on my lips before walking straight into the bathroom. As I took a rather unhurried bath, I heard the gong sound of the large pack bell. The training must

Elise Pov Three days, I barely ate until my wolf was starting to get weak. For Keiran sake and for my mission's sake, I decided to eat something. I called out to one of the guards at my door to call Mandy. I could only eat Mandy's food. As soon as Mandy stepped in, her beautiful eyes were filled with tears. I let out a weak smile as I beckoned to her. " I am not dead, Drama queen" She let out tearful laughter," I miss you, my princess." " And I miss your food" Her beautiful eyes flashed in excitement." My princess, give me thirty minutes and I will be here with a sumptuous meal just for you." Without waiting for my response, Mandy quickly dashed out of my room. I smiled at her disappearing silhouette while my mind raced in different directions. Barely thirty minutes and Mandy was true to her words. A simple yet nourishing meal was enough to bring Keiran back to life. " I need fresh air..." Mandy wore a complicated look on her face for a moment but it was immediately replac

Elise Pov When I woke again, the light filtering into the room was softer. The pain on my side hadn’t faded. If anything, it throbbed more now, steady and sharp. I tried to move, but it only made my ribs ache. For a while, I just lay there, listening to the silence. A while later, the door creaked a little, and Mandy walked in.“My Princess, you’re awake.” Her voice was low, careful, like she was afraid to startle me. She carried a tray with a small bowl of soup and set it on the side table. “You should eat something.”I pushed myself up slowly, ignoring the pull on my side. “What time is it?”“It’s already past noon,” she said, folding her hands in front of her. “You’ve been asleep for a while.”I nodded faintly and glanced toward the bandages around my waist. The sight made my stomach twist. “How was the battle anyway? Did we win?”She hesitated before answering. “Yes, my princess. The rogues retreated not long after you collapsed. The princes drove them back beyond the northern bo

ELISE POV It can't be fucking happening! The pulsing sound, the all too familiar presence of the only person that had been with me for a long time, and feelings that I had tried desperately to break all came rushing in. My ribs still ached from the fight. The cut across my side had been deep, just too deep. I’d felt it when it happened: the way my wolf went quiet. Too quiet. The way the world tilted and went grey at the edges. I thought that was it. I thought I’d finally pushed too far. Then the bond pulsed suddenly, strong and alive, like a wave crashing through me. My heart jumped. The air around me seemed to hum faintly, alive with energy. Static lifted the tiny hairs on my arms. The room smelled like ozone and cedar and storm, just like them. Heat spread across my skin, my claws slowly sprouting out, and then I felt it, the faint tingle of my wolf returning. Kieran’s voice echoed faintly in my head. "I’m here." Oh, thank the goddess. Relief hit me so hard I nearly
