Elise's POV  I woke up drenched in sweat, squeezing tightly at my half-soaked blanket. The air felt tight all of a sudden, my eyes blinking rapidly.   The dream. That dream.  Red volcanic eyes. A cackling presence, still ringing in my subconscious self. Not just the presence, even the voice was enough to send tingles in my entire body. It kept echoing,  deep and throaty, in my “You are mine, Elise. You can't accept the bond."  My hands trembled as I pressed them against my face, trying to ground myself in reality. It felt too real. Too vivid. Like a warning rather than a nightmare.  I pushed myself up, the sheets tangled around my legs, and looked around the empty room. The triplets weren't here. Fortunately, they heeded my words and left me alone. I was alone in the room, sweating from a dream that could pass off as reality.
