Sienna’s pov“What the hell?” I asked in shock.“Marry me,” he repeated like I had not heard him the first time.I didn’t believe what I was hearing as I leaned back in my seat and slowly chuckled before busting out in a full laughter.I didn’t know how long I was laughing before leaning forward with clasped hands to look at him well.“You’re joking right?”“I’m actually dead serious.”“No fucking way.”I climbed down from the high seat and shook my head while pacing around the kitchen.“This is a fucking joke. You can’t just bring me here and make this dinner, bring all your maids and robots, and then you just bring up the whole marry me shtick on me. That is not going to work. And if Xander is the one who put you up to this…”“Oh please, can you stop calling Xander’s name? All he has done is hurt you anyway. And besides, this exact plan that I brought up is to push Xander away.”“You can’t be serious. This is your better plan? God! What the fuck were you thinking? You’ll marry me no

Xanders povShe was deep in thoughts before nodding.“The only option we have right now is to call Sienna. I’m sure she still has a phone. The doctors might have given it back to her or something. So maybe call her up and know if she might have something to do with this.”“She doesn’t have a phone. She fell here. Her phone is in the room.”“Check online. Since she’s awake, she must have gotten a new phone. She’s browsing. Call her on one of these social media platforms.”That was a good call.I got my phone and checked online before seeing she was online. With a nod I called and put it on loudspeaker while waiting for a response.I looked at the phone, my heart pounding as I looked at Diane.“What are the chances she will pick up?”I asked as she smiled, “She will.”Almost immediately she did as I heard her voice.“Why are you calling me Xander?”“Sienna, where are you? Tell me and I’ll come there to pick you up.”“Xander, never call me again. Please, I’m begging you. Just let me be.”

Sienna’s pov“It’s almost like I misheard you, Sir Anthony. Seemed like you said something concerning marriage.”Anthony nodded. “Yes, I wanted to draft out marriage contracts. Ms. Sienna here and I would want to get married.”The lawyers eyes widened for a while before he looked at me and then Anthony before bursting out in a heavy laughter. It took some time for him to keep laughing while Anthony and I waited for him to be done. When he was done, he cleaned the tears that had been forming under his eyes, due to forceful laughter, as he held his stomach and then looked at us well, but we were not even smiling.“Wait, you’re being serious?”Anthony nodded.“No, no.” The lawyer shook his head. “This is not true. How is it that I’m just hearing this now? I’ve never seen you go on a date with anybody, much less you keep a single woman. What is all this? Miss, what did you do?”I shrugged as I saw the lawyer looking at me. “Why are you looking at me? I didn’t do anything.”“You didn’t do

Sienna’s povI slowly opened my eyes as I winced when the bright light from the light in the office hit my face. It dawned on me that i wasn’t home as I stretched and yawned. This vibrating chair had done wonders for me and I had fallen asleep.I looked to the window and found out it was very dark. I gasped and sat up with force as I hit my leg forcefully onto the ground, which shot up pain through my leg.“Ouch!” I hissed as I felt air beside me before turning to see Anthony standing there. He bent down to my leg as he helped me stretch it.“What are you doing?” I was in shock when he was touching my leg as he looked up with his eyes catching me off guard.“I’m here to help you.”I shook my head. “Just let me go, please.”“Don’t fight me on this. Let me help you, it’s the least I can do.”I scoffed. “The least you can do? Dude, there’s nothing you’ve done that has been the least you can do. Everything has been something that in a million years my so-called husband can do for me.”I

Sienna’s povI started to pace around the living room while muttering to myself.Randy and Anthony sat by the dining table talking and looking at me. They weren’t scared in the least. I was the only one who cared about what was going on.“Come on,” Anthony sighed. “You need to relax you know.”“I can’t relax,” I said in a nervous voice. I could feel it shaking. “Do you actually know what it means to be in court? I’ve seen so many movies. It never ends well for the ladies.”He laughed.“I’m going to be representing you,” Randy said. “You don’t have to worry about a thing. I’m a million bucks in a suit. Trust me, I’ve won more than a thousand cases and I will win more in the future. You don’t need to bother about it. Relax and let me do my job.”How could I believe him? What if I was the only failure in this case?Anthony got up to come to me as he led me to the balcony. I stumbled against a table while following him as he turned to look at me.“Your legs still giving you trouble?”I lo
