Rejected Luna: Awakening Her Silver Wolf のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Danika POV“Stop, my love.” My voice echoed in the room, mirroring my moans as we lay tangled on the bed.“What babe, don’t you like it?”Drake panted seductively as he nibbled at my neck. He wasn’t helping matters as he was back kissing me passionately again, his lips playing tag with mine and his hands doing wicked things to my body.If we continued on this path, we would end up making passionate love—not that I didn’t want it myself anyway.“Babe,” I called out again, and this time, thank Goddess, he stopped, panting really hard.“You know I want you. I’ve always wanted you,” he asked.“Don’t you want me?”“You know I do, babe.”“Then let’s do it. Make love to me. It wouldn’t change anything anyway,” he tried to convince me.A part of me wanted to scream yes, but another part of me knew this wasn’t the right thing to do. I could see the desire to have me in his eyes, but I could also detect the hurt in his tone of voice, and it hurt me too. With my eyes a little clearer from the ho

Danika’s P.O.V.A sharpened knife wouldn’t be able to cut through how heavy the tension assailed the air. The usual loud and cheerful path to the Pack House was now deafening—complete silence. Fear—yes, fear. I could feel it in the air, and I could feel it in my guts, too.I wasn’t excluded, because the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack had declared war on our pack.My father’s voice echoed in my head again for the fifth time: this wasn’t just news of any pack—this was the most powerful and dangerous pack. Just the mention of its name caused even kings to shake and tremble. I wondered what our pack did to direct his attention to us.“Come in.” I heard Alpha’s voice from inside the office, but I could detect the tremors in his voice as well. I had reached his office now.I pushed open the doors, and there they were—Drake and my little sister, now Luna—working together like the loveliest couple, and I felt a sting in my chest. She was living my destiny. That was supposed to be my spot. I wa

Danika POV I watched the day slowly but finally crawl into the night, eating away at its darkness. The morning sun was already coming out of its shelters, casting warm glows on the prison cell. With a far-away look on my face, I suddenly thought about Drake while I was down here, rotting away in a prison cell in a far-away land. What would he be doing? Probably having the best time of his life with my sister. I chuckled, a self-deprecating chuckle that was filled with so much sadness and sorrow. When did it all start? Was it when he asked that we make love and I refused? Probably my sister has been giving it to him all along. A soft frown graced my weary face when Silver clouded my consciousness. Someone is coming, I notified Edgar in a mind link. The Alpha is here. The Alpha is here and has come to rip out our hearts. We are all going to die. My already numb body immediately became tense, my heart beating rapidly in my chest. “Here they are, Alpha.” The warrior I didn’t know p

Danika POVHe snatched my drink, making it impossible for me to breathe because he took it along with the drink. Clothed in a black suit was the strongest Alpha. His presence intimidatingly vehement, his scent was strong, and he was dressed deliciously to kill, unlike the last time I saw him. This time he took his time to appear good-looking, and he did one hell of a good job. “That’s mine. And you wouldn’t mind sharing it with me, would you?” he smirked, taking a sip from the drink.“You should have asked for yours instead of snatching mine.”His eyes shone with mischief, like he was brewing something in them. “Ouch.” He touched his heart with his free hand, feigning hurt. “That’s not a way to say thank you.” And that was true. He could refuse to ally with our pack. He had all the power, the resources, and everything our pack lacked. He had them all at his behest, but he accepted anyway, and so I should be thankful. And with that in mind, I tapped the bar counter, seeking the bartend

DanikaI reluctantly took the first step to leave, my spirits dampened and my heart heavy. I didn’t want to go home yet. Not that I mattered to my mom, but my father… I didn’t want that soul to worry about me. Ever since Drake rejected me, he has been the only member of my family who tirelessly stayed beside me, the only one whose shoulder I have cried on. That man, I just wanted him to have a peaceful night’s rest for once.I twisted my heels and walked out of the event hall slowly, leaving the cheery atmosphere and into the woods. I needed to calm myself, and the scent of the woods would do just that. But of course, after the scent of earthy and floral, the wind waved its way around my body as it incessantly bit away the remaining warmth in my body. I crossed my hands over my shoulder as I walked my way into the woods. The moonlight was bright, casting enchanting patterns on the dense forest ground, making it a little dark but with Silver’s eyes I could see the twigs on the clear for
