Lucille’s POV“It’s a minor head injury,” I laid on the hospital bed listening in on the doctor, who spoke with King.He hadn’t spoken after he got me out of there. I dragged my eyes to the IV drip which had significantly helped me feel better. King stroked a nod before stepping back into the ward.“I’m here to tend to her injuries,” a nurse said as she walked in.King stared at me for a moment before giving out his hand. “I’ll handle it from here,” he said.The nurse glanced at me and then at King before reluctantly handing over the medicine tray.
