Candy's POVI went home early so I could get ready for my date with Kel. After a quick shower, I wrapped my towel around my body and rushed towards the closet so that I could choose from the dresses I owned.My eyes landed on the black dress I wore a few days back to go to the club with the gang. Candy pov I was elated when we returned that evening. Satisfied, yet exhausted. Goggles came meowing at me, as usual. When I cuddled her and poured food and water, she went to have her food. After taking a bath to clean my body, I laid my exhausted body on the mattress. As soon as I did, I dozed off. When I woke up the next morning,Goggles was still asleep beside me and my phone was buzzing non-stop. I had set an alarm so that I could wake up by six every morning.I didn't like to sleep in unless I was sick or I had slept late the previous night. After turning it off, I stretched my body. The memories of the previous day made me smile. Nina was excited to be able to stretch her paws and of course, to meet Kel's wolf.  Candy POV It was a pity that I had to come face to face with the wolf I was running away from, and when he grabbed me while I wasn't expecting, I felt like tearing his face using my claws. Yet, I couldn't do that. He too was an alpha wolf, hence strong. Besides, being among humans meant that we couldn't possibly risk revealing who we really were. Humans were oblivious to our existence. I felt disgusted to be held in his arms, unlike when we were together. I hated him to the core and I was grateful that I didn't feel the sparks, nor any kind of attraction towards the traitor. I was continuously peering out of the window of the train, wondering when we would arrive at our destination. Candy POV After the work was done, Kel dropped me home and left because he received a call from his employees. I went to my flat and followed my usual routine. I had changed my clothes and started to cook something for dinner as Kel had told me that he would come to have dinner with me. I let the chicken thaw while I took a shower. After preparing some potato wedges to eat with the chicken I had put in the oven to grill, I proceeded to make a salad for us.
