“Is that why she is here? Someone is out to kill her?” Aarshon asked as he moved off the bed so Magnusson could set his wife on it. The woman seemed to suck in emotions, and it was going to kill her if she didn’t learn to control them. Aarshon moved back toward the bed to lay his hand on Majesta’s. The moment his hand touched hers, the green look on her face stopped.“Yes, that is why she is here; the night we called you, she had been shot by two arrows, one in her thigh, the other in her chest. It was a miracle that she is living now.” Willow told him with a slight nod of her head to Dimitri. So that he would know who had really saved his mother.“I owe you a great debt, Dimitri. She is pretty much the only family I have left.” Aarshon told him and sighed. He needed to get over the issues he had with vampires.
