As soon as Xander finished speaking, he turned sharply to Maxwell and said, “Go downstairs”. Saying this, he took a deep breath to calm his raging heart before adding, “Stay with the girls and take those drinks for testing. We need to know what’s inside them.”Hearing this, Maxwell didn’t hesitate. So he nodded his head immediately and said, “I’m on it.”Then without wasting another second, he turned and quickly left, heading downstairs. Now it was just Xander and Michael.Michael’s expression turned serious as he finally voiced what had been on his mind.“I think Derek booked that room for a reason,” he started off slowly, making Xander look at him.Seeing his look, Michael cleared his throat and continued, “And if Viola has really been drugged, then there’s a chance they plan to take her there.”The moment those words left his mouth, Xander’s face hardened instantly.Clenching his jaw tightly, a dangerous look flashed across his eyes, but he didn’t say anything for a second, and e

On the other end, Xander who heard this stopped walking immediately.“Where?” he asked sharply, with his tone filled with urgency.Michael kept his voice low, his eyes not leaving the waiter as he said calmly, “Second corridor, close to the corner. He’s heading toward Derek’s room”. Knowing what would happen if they didn’t get there early, Xander’s expression turned cold instantly. So with a firm voice, he said, “Don’t let him get there”. Michael’s grip on his phone tightened slightly as he replied almost instantly, “I won’t”. With that, Xander added quickly, “I’m on my way,” “Hurry,” Michael said with a serious voice, and after he did, Xander disconnected the call, knowing fully well that Michael needed to stay focused.Seeing that it was not connected anymore, Michael slowly slipped his phone back into his pocket and watched closely as the waiter continued moving forward with Viola in his arms. His eyes followed every single step, calculating the right moment and as the distanc

In the meantime, Xander reached the parking lot with quick and urgent steps as he held Viola tightly in his arms. His eyes immediately found his car, and just as expected, his bodyguard, who was also his driver, was already standing outside, waiting attentively. The moment the driver saw him approaching, his expression changed. “Sir”. He called out, quickly moving forward.Without wasting a second, he opened the back door for Xander.Xander did not say anything, he simply got into the car, still holding Viola firmly against his chest, not even considering putting her down.“Drive to the hospital,” he said immediately with a low but commanding voice. The driver nodded his head instantly and responded. “Yes, sir.”With that, he shut the door quickly, rushed to the driver’s seat, and started the engine without delay.Within seconds, the car sped off, heading straight to the hospital.Inside the car, Xander’s expression remained tense. His arms tightened slightly around Viola as he looke

Reaching the bathroom, Claire pushed the door open and stepped inside with a plain face even though she was panicking. As soon as she entered, her eyes immediately scanned the entire space making sure that it was empty. But still, she did not relax immediately. She walked further in, as she checked briefly to make sure no one was around.Only when she was completely certain did she pull out her phone and without wasting time, she dialed Derek’s number. The phone rang for about a minute, making her brows furrow deeply.“Pick up…” she muttered under her breath and began pacing around. But soon the call ended, so she called again but this time around, it went straight to voicemail.Frustration quickly built up inside her so she whispered angrily, “What is wrong with him? Why is he not answering?”She glanced toward the door, growing slightly anxious because she knew she can’t stay in the bathroom for too long. With that, she decided to try one last time but it still went back to voicema

Alexa quickly checked her phone when it vibrated again, and to her relief, she saw that it was a message from Michael.Seeing this, her eyes immediately lit up. So she stared at Vivian and whispered, “Michael,” She had been waiting for his call or message for what felt like forever, so seeing his name finally appear on her phone instantly made some of the tension in her chest disappear.Without even bothering to open the message and read what he had sent, Alexa immediately pressed the call button. And this time around, the phone rang only twice before Michael finally picked up.“Hello baby…” Micheal said, but before he could even finish his greeting, Alexa immediately started talking.“Michael, where have you been? Why weren’t you answering your phone? How is Viola? Where is she right now? Which hospital did Xander take her to? Why haven’t you called us? And why is Maxwell’s phone not going through? Is something wrong? Is Viola awake? Did the doctor say anything? What exactly happene
