After Jade and the kids were gone, Clara decided to check the CCTV footage to see who or which company delivered the parcel. She stood motionless in front of the large monitor in the mansion's security room, her eyes never leaving the screen as the CCTV footage replayed for what had to be the fifth time. The security guard standing beside her remained respectfully silent, not daring to interrupt as the white delivery truck rolled slowly toward the front gate. The guards outside stopped it, carried out the routine inspection, exchanged a few words with the driver, and, after confirming he was supposedly delivering a parcel, allowed the vehicle through with little suspicion. A man wearing a face mask and the uniform of a delivery company stepped down, handed over the large brown envelope, signed a document, nodded politely, and drove away less than two minutes later.
