Semua Bab Daddy and Mommy: Bab 171 - Bab 180

Michael and I have been lying in bed for quite a while now. Neither of us said anything. There was a lot on my mind and not much to say. Since yesterday, I've realised that Sandy Byron is nothing but a fly where there are vultures like Bastian and eagles like Marct, who have lived far more dangerous lives. They live on the edge most of their lives. Sandy is merely a phase in our lives, and yet he seemed to have shaken us up. I can't even bring myself to think about what would happen if we were involved in all these wars. And then there is Boraxip.I wonder how much my mother knows. Or even...Zayn. I wondered if we could handle Boraxip's world if he ever decided to claim the throne again. If he won the battle between him and his brother, Nicholas. I wondered what would become of me."Hey baby," I spoke up after a moment, being sure to be quiet in case Michael was fast asleep. His gentle caress on my hip is an indication that he is indeed awake."Yes, love,""Do you think I'd make a fin

"We both have duties to fulfil," was all we got from Jordan. Samantha let him be, knowing he wasn't much of a talker. Sometimes I wondered how this combination worked out. Samantha used to talk Jordan's ears off, and he'd merely grunt or respond in a few words. She never cared about the lack of conversation. If anything, she got used to it as she grew up.Instead, she dived back into the time Michael and I started dating, going above and beyond in reminding him of his embarrassing moments. "I remember the first time he actually acknowledged his feelings for you," she said, looking at me. "We were still living in that apartment," I nodded. "Michael almost knocked down my door, looking like he was close to shitting himself. He said, 'I think I'm gay'." I snickered. "And I ask him why, he said, 'I looked at Jackson's ass and I liked I gasped, my eyes wide."No, you didn't!" This was news to me."I didn't say that.""You did. I laughed at you, and you even dragged me down the bed by my l

I just thought that if I handled everything with Sandy and Karen, I'd protect you two from the ugly world and the ugly truth. I thought I'd shield you two from the horrible things that happen, and you'd never have to face them." He placed a gentle hand on her face. "I didn't realise that you have grown into a strong, brave woman who's no doubt stronger than me." His voice shook with his last words, as they both shared a laugh."That's impossible, baby." Samantha shook her head."It's true," Michael argued. "If I'm being honest, you've been handling everything well. If it weren't for you getting the bodyguards, we'd be dead right now. We were so enraged, and we acted so hastily that we didn't think that far," he went on. "You have saved us countless times, love. I shouldn't have any doubts, and I shouldn't have undermined you like that. I put you in the box, in the name of protecting you.""Sometimes, my reasoning is lesser than my controlling side. It's not good. Not always good, at l

So do you, fucker," I hear Sky says halfway across the house. I laughed."So what else should we do?" Samantha said. "Ya'll are both terrible at this game,""I know what we can do," I suggested."No," I gawked at the two."Ya'll haven't heard what I wanted to say,""And we don't want to hear it," Jackson said."That's not fair," I said looking at the two. "I was going to say that I wanted a cake, so I was hoping we could bake together," both their faces fall. "What did ya'll think?""Sex?""I mean, that's also-""No,""Ugh, ya'll bore me,""Baking a cake it is then," Samantha said with a smile as she stood up from the floor. "Come on. It's still early,""Early for what?" Jackson asked, looking up at her from the floor."It's a surprise," she said with a knowing smile. "We leave at one o'clock, so be ready, okay?""A date?" I asked."Yes,""Help me up," I held up my hands. She placed her phone down on the coffee table before heading to where I was lying down. Standing above with her fe

"Yes,""Okay, you didn't enjoy the Haunted House," Jackson concluded, sitting down on my lap."Oh my? I couldn't tell," the two snickered though they tried to play it off."We're sorry," Jackson said kissing my cheek. I looked away. "Baby," I shook off his hand on my face."You want a kiss?" Samantha inquired, sitting down next to us."No," she gasped."But you like kisses," she pointed out."Not today,""Are you mad at us?" Jackson asked me."I don't know," I shrugged, looking at them. "Am I?" they looked at each other, eyes glinting with the need to laugh, but they were holding. I sighed, relaxing as I wrapped my arm around Jackson. "Ya'll enjoy watching me suffer? First, it was the Twister game, then the Tweezers. Now this?""But baby-""I don't even like clowns," I pointed out."Okay, this will be the last time we ever come to the Haunted House, okay?" Samantha said. "I'm sorry. We pushed you too hard," she pecked my cheek quickly. "Sorry," she pouted, bracing her chin on my shoul
