EARLIER"William?"With my figure standing in the way and my eyes glued to him, I didn't realize how long I had been in that position until he fingers flickered my forehead snapping me out of my trance."Surprised?" He asked, head tilted to the side.My eyes went from Sophie who clung to his neck, to his face."Yes. Very much. You didn't tell me you were coming and how did you find your way here?""You didn't know?" He asked making the look of confusion to display on my face."I called last night trying to informing you of my whereabout but you weren't picking up. So instead I called Bruno and made him give me your address" he explained making me to recall last night event.Last night was a bit chaotic and seeing he called Bruno, Bruno must have forgotten to inform me when he saw my condition at the hospital."Hey, what happened to your face? You look pale?Have you been eaten" his fingers pinched away on my cheeks making me hiss.My reaction got a chuckle from him as he released m

"I'M SORRY CLARISSA" he spoke.Lucian held Clarissa so close that he could feel her warmth. He felt the way her body tensed against him.The way a slight gasp eluded her lips."Lu... Lucian?" Stuttered Clarissa and only when his arms around her lessened with hesitation, she turned to fist her eyes on him."What are you sorry for?" She asked him.In his eyes his feelings could easily be told for the first time.Guilt.Regret and lots more."A lot of things. I'm sorry for letting you go five years ago.For treating you the way I did.For... For hating on you and not believing you when the entire world was against you" his gaze was lowered to the ground as though unable to raise her gaze to hers.Clarissa's eyes widened even more at his words. A slight pang of sorrow flashed through her eyes."Why?""Because I was foolish for not seeing what was in front of me""But why now?""Because I... I just found the truth. The truth about it all five years ago" he said wanting to say more but h

The preparations were set in motion. With the passport ready and our bags fully arranged, our departure sure did seem like it was set in stone but even with everything planned out, it sure did seem like something was bugging me.The worried look on my face I didn't know I had was seen by William who approached me with Sophie clinging to his hand."You seem worried" he uttered, hands stretched to massage the frown that spiralled up my face."Oh... I do?""Yes mummy. Is something wrong?" Asked Sophie titling herr head to the side as she asked. Both their eyes peered out to look at me."Of course not dear. Nothing's wrong.I guess mummy is just stressed out" I shrugged rubbing her head as I placed a smile to my face extinguishing the worry in her eyes.Stepping in front of me, William stunned me with his actions when he slightly bent down placing a soft gentle kiss on my forehead."I know what you're worried about. Don't think about it anymore. I'll surely find a way to severe the con

SEDUCE ME DARLING CLARISSA "What... What truth?""THAT I'M HER FATHER"The words that left Lucian's lips left me cold as ice.Fingers trembled with the thought of me revealing Lucian's identity to Sophie."I... I""What? Cat got your tongue?" Sneered Lucian. A disdainful look spiralled up his face. One that increased with my next utterance."I can't" I finally spoke. Anger. Immense anger resonated within him.Just as he walked up to me, he slightly bent over so we could become the same height. His blue eyes stormed in clear rage but still he managed to plant a bone chilling smirk up on his refined facials."And why can't you?" He spoke."Sophie's still so little. Breaking the news that..." I suddenly halted in my tracks unsure of how next to place my words."Speak!" He demanded in a low menacing growl that had me shudder in fright. The clouds above us was now turning dark."Sophie knows William as her father. If I... Break it to her that she's been lied to... I... I'm afraid she

Blood. My vision blurred with the sight of the tremendous amount of blood in my line of sight. It wasn't mine.No.It was his- Lucian's.It was then a realization hit me, Lucian had saved me!***The wailing sound of the ambulance blared in the air and in no time, the cold stench of antiseptics clouded my nostrils, patients crying for a reason or two was enough to make me acknowledge that we had arrived at the hospital.we reached the hospital.Placed up on a stretcher, he was quickly taken in for treatment.I covered my face with my hands and plunged myself into darkness but the chaos around me still seeped through into my ears.My body trembled as I stared down at my hands. The noises increased and the feeling of DEJA VU swept over me.I had experienced this before...Five years ago I was the reason Lucian was brought here and yrs later, I'm still the reason he was here.My feet paced round the corridors for long moments, fingers going to pinch each other waiting in anticipation.
