Ian's POV The call came at four in the morning, and I was awake for it, the way I'd been awake most nights since the coma let me go — some part of my body still convinced that sleep was a debt I hadn't finished repaying. "She's alive." Sullivan's voice, rough, disbelieving even as he said it, like the words might dissolve if he didn't get them out fast enough. "Say that again." "She's alive, Ian. Liam has her. They're in the air, four hours out, Sydney direct." A sound on his end that might have been a laugh, might have been something closer to a sob, impossible to tell over the line. "Eleven weeks.
