Todos los capítulos de Her True Mate: Capítulo 81 - Capítulo 90

Druida P.O.V.The note on my bed is scruffy and ugly, and not to be mistaken. Meet us in the clearing where Freya betrayed me, alone or I will kill her and her mate without regret. JI read it again, wondering for the hundredth time how in the realm she got a note into my tent, but where in the realm she is? It’s been three days since Jessica and Elisa mysteriously disappeared and even though Silvan is fuming with rage by her betrayal, something is also not quite adding up with him these days. Not since the right before the utter fiasco with Stephan, who is still keeping a close eye on me and Lucas and given not so hidden threats in our lives. The issue with Silvan is that his aura has changed slightly, like it’s more mature than it always has been? But it doesn’t quite make sense, and even Lucas is lost when it comes to his brother.“It’s definitely not a soulcopy, but something is off with him.” He said the night Jess and Elisa disappeared. “What do you mean soulcopy?” I asked,

Balder P.O.V.The packhouse has been quiet for the longest time, but I have guard duty just like the rest of the ranked members, and I opted to take the night shift, knowing Lillie would be up anyways with all the new people we got to situate between Iron Mountain and Blackmoon. She and my sister have been working tirelessly to get everything under control as more refugees have been coming to us since Silvan moved his camp closer to our pack borders. Liam is on duty with me, running besides my wolf in the circle pattern we know so well by now. I must admit being away from my mate is making me and my wolf nervous, but we need something to do other than being diplomatic and putting strategies together. We need real work, and this is as real as it gets right now. We’ve already been in three skirmishes tonight with rogues and their likes, probes trying to gauge our strength. We left no one to tell the tale in either fight. My wolf has been particularly wanting to go out and pro

Maddison P.O.V.I can’t believe my own ears, and feeling the emotions of Liam, I somehow know he is getting the same information as I am. He is fuming and all over the place with rage and guilt. I send him some love and calm through our bond, wanting, no, needing him to know this is not his fault. It’s no one’s fault. As far as we know, and since the young Druida has been with Silvan’s organization from the beginning, we know a whole lot, Jessica didn’t know either that Rick was actually alive. Druida. She is a mystery to me. Someone I want to solve so badly. She seems so familiar, and so unfamiliar at the same time. Even Ember is solely confused about the young woman, wanting to be near her, and feeling really protective of her, but not knowing why. One thing is for certain though, she is not just a witch. Something has changed about her since she arrived at Iron Mountain - her aura is more than it was and it was pretty powerful to begin with. Then there are her uncanny similaritie

Druida P.O.V.After Cian mindlinks me the information about the attacks on the pack, I tell the others we need to hurry our own plans along. I also tell Alora, who says she was the one who tipped off her brother. Of course she was, why is that even a surprise to me? I should have known she wouldn’t have been satisfied with staying here and spying on Rick and Jessica. No, she needed to be in the thick of it all and also spy on Silvan. ‘You’re just jealous, sis.’ Alora links me, amusement all over her mental voice. ‘Indeed I am, but you are not going to have all the fun now. Please open the shadow portal for us so we can leave.’ She chuckles, and I shake my head while warning the others about her incoming work. It’s well after dusk now, and everything has been quiet around here for some time. I’m not sure if Rick and Jessica and their minions have gone to bed or.. ‘The portal opens up outside the grounds where they are keeping you. There will be a cottage where Jessica, Elisa and Ri

Lucas P.O.V. Cian and his men are shooting the enemy from the air, taking down droves of warriors before they can even reach us, but I got this feeling I can quite shake, so when the witches cast their magical light over the area, and the four should-be-dead vampires, and witch, come out, I redirect my men back to the packhouse mindlinking Cian to shift some of his warriors focus that way as well. ‘What are you thinking, Luke?’ Cian asks, and I’ve noticed he has a tendency to call me an actual pleasant nickname when he doesn’t think about it, or maybe I’m just growing on him. ‘I do not even for a second think Silvan is so stupid he did not suspect they could be alive. Maybe he has counter measures, or maybe I’m just a worryrat, either way, I want to help them.’ ‘Got it. Airassistance incoming.’ The night explodes in a deafening explosion as the packhouse goes up in smoke and fire. Balder screams orders for his men, but I link the wolf I’m with to leave his men with him, and we go
