Lahat ng Kabanata ng Dumped By My EX, I Picked Up A Tycoon: Kabanata 51 - Kabanata 60

Isabella's POVI couldn't sleep. Every word Matteo threw at me earlier kept lingering in my mind, and now that I’m alone in my room, I couldn't help but visit our conversation. He defended me. He said I am a gem. He saw the little things about me. He knows my worth.“Argh!” I messed my hair up and rolled on my bed. “This is crazy! I’m going crazy!”I know I shouldn't be thinking about what Matteo said. He said he was confused and it might be a false alarm. I shouldn't assume that he feels something towards me, but his words. Those words that hold weight. It keeps ringing in my head like they don't want to be forgotten. My eyes were heavy the next say while I was cooking Noah's breakfast. I absentmindedly cooked his breakfast and prepared his snack.Noah was already sitting on the dining chair when I put a plate of food in front of him, but I was taken aback when someone entered the dining hall. The beating of my heart instantly changed into violent hits. Like a rogue, unable to tame.

Isabella’s POVI haven't been talking and looking at Matteo for two days, and he was also ignoring me. After he scolded me for entering that room and playing the piano, I didn't even dare go near the right wing again. He shouted at me. He looked at me like I didn't mean anything at all. As if he didn't say strange things about his feelings not a few days ago.Maybe it's not true. Maybe it was a false alarm. He said he was confused. Perhaps he just pity me.His unresolved confession lingered in my head like a broken cd. It keeps me awake at night, and preoccupied at day. There was a storm inside my chest. The chaotic feelings were troublesome. This is my only armor. The silence and the distance. I have to guard my heart because honestly, I have already fallen.I was wandering in the mall. It was my day off. I thought about distracting myself with the stranger's faces.Families. Friends. Couples.I sighed and continued walking until I reached the cinema. It's funny that not a few days a

Isabella’s POVIt was already seven o’clock in the evening when I arrived at the Moretti mansion. I still feel so down and the confrontation with Damon made my heart even heavier. He was so evil for creating more lies just to cover up his toxicity and obsession. I can't believe I let someone like him in my life. It is true that love makes us blind. Good thing, I was able to see the dark side of being with him before it's too late. I would've regretted it my whole life.Distraction. I need it. I should stop thinking about my unrequited love for Matteo before I completely lose myself. The seemingly lonely castle was quiet and dimly lit. But despite the dim lights, I clearly saw someone materializing in the living area.My heart raced, recognizing the silhouette. He was sitting on a single couch. His back was to me. In his left hand was a glass of brandy, and a cigarette stick in the middle of his right forefinger and middle finger.I swallowed the lump in my throat, feeling the sudden r

Isabella's POVMatteo and I kept stealing glances. I could feel something in his stares, and it was making me nervous. The tension was there, as was the excitement. After breakfast, I prepared Noah's snacks while waiting for him to get ready.“How's my hairstyle, Belly?” Noah excitedly asked after he descended the stairs.“I think you're too excited today.”He giggled and motioned for me to lean close. I did and he whispered, “Today is Ivory’s birthday.”My eyes squinted. “I suppose Ivory is your crush?”He shyly laughed, making me laugh too. I held his hand as we left the house.I paused when I saw Matteo's car in front of the car Anton was driving. I thought he had already left?Matteo was sitting in the driver's seat with a serious expression on his face. The window beside him was rolled down, and when he felt my stares, he looked my way.I swallowed hard and cleared my throat. “I thought you had already left.”“Get in.”“Huh?” I was confused. Won't he go to his office?“I’ll drop

Isabella's POVMelinda was constantly glancing at me and the person on the other table. We're in a coffee shop in the middle of the night to talk about the problem she's having. Matteo accompanied me to the police station earlier, and Matteo was the one who took Melinda out of jail.I’m worried. Melinda is a strong woman, and she would never cry like she cried earlier if she could handle the situation. Now, seeing her swollen eyes, I’d say even the strongest person breaks.“Are you two…together?”I sighed. “That's not why we're here, you know.”She licked her bottom lip and nodded before she glanced at Matteo again.I glanced at Matteo too. He was just sitting on the other table wearing his business attire. He didn't get the chance to change because Melinda had an emergency. He just took of his coat and rolled the sleeves of his polo.Earlier, he called a lawyer. I don't know how they did it, but Melinda was the only one who was released tonight.“Tell me what happened, Melinda. Why w
