My feet hit the ground hard, the sound echoing like I’m trapped in some endless void. My chest is tight, my breath short. Then suddenly, I see something ahead, a faint outline, maybe a doorway. I rush toward it and stumble into what looks like a garage.But when I turn around, there’s nothing. Just blackness swallowing everything. A sound cuts through the air, a baby crying. My heart pounds faster as I spin in circles, trying to find it. “Hello?” My voice cracks. The crying grows louder. I look down, and there’s nothing. No baby, no light, no walls.
