I finished cleaning the third floor and went straight for the elevator, which took me to the first floor of the building. The food in the hotel was freaking expensive, so with me and Priya’s pitiful money, I decided to go outside the hotel to buy myself some snacks. Chips were my favorite snack. Priya’s pov, I watched the paramedics move the stretchers into the patient compartment inside the ambulance, before the ambulance hurried off. Did Lara over do it? I wondered, but remembering how those two had been treating me ever since they set their eyes on me, I hardened my heart and did not feel sorry for them, because they deserved whatever that had come to them. I returned to the hotel and went ahead to stay in a corner where people rarely pass through. I decided to rest, because Lara had helped me clean the third floor. It was funny how, a few minutes ago, I was happy to do the serving task after discovering that I was going to get paid.
