DANTE The room was quiet except for the sound of heavy breathing. Three men were tied to metal chairs in the middle of the basement. Blood stained the concrete floor beneath them. I stood by the table, slowly removing my gloves. None of them dared to look at me. They had tried to kill me two nights ago, now they were shaking like frightened animals. I pulled out the chair across from them and sat down calmly. My men stood behind me in silence. “I’m going to ask this once,” I said, my voice echoed softly in the cold room. “Who sent you?” The room stayed silent. None of them answered. The man in the middle kept his eyes on the floor like he was hoping the ground would open up and swallow him. The one on the left was breathing so hard his chest kept rising and falling. The third man tried to look brave, but the sweat running down the side of his face betrayed him. I watched them for a few seconds, then I smiled. Slowly, I stretched out my hand to the side
