ALLY’S POV “Congratulations… you are one month pregnant,” the doctor told me happily. I turned to look at Daniel, sitting right beside me. He just stared at me closely, as if carefully weighing and measuring every single reaction I showed. Yesterday, when he first told me I was pregnant, I couldn’t believe it right away. That is why I came here today, to see an OB-GYN and confirm once and for all that it was true. Daniel came along with me because the doctor we were seeing happened to be a close acquaintance of his. “Thank you, Doctor,” I whispered, and without really realizing what I was doing, I stood up and walked out of the clinic room.
