Dawn comes quietly and quickly. The sky is barely light when Malisha steps into the training field. The air is crisp, cool enough to bite at her lungs when she inhales. The grass is still damp with morning dew, which darkens the edges of her boots. She did not sleep much, but it was not because she was uneasy or bothered. She just feels settled.
