Lahat ng Kabanata ng Forced to Marry my Ex-Boyfriend's Psychopath Older Brother : Kabanata 51 - Kabanata 60

Eden’s Point of ViewJust like Theron said, the police came, they questioned Mr. Johnson with me being present the whole time, and I confessed to eavesdropping on their conversation and told them what I heard.I was also able to find out—Mia is Mr. Johnson’s daughter that he had in an illicit relationship with another woman who wasn’t the mother of the twins. And that’s not all, he had threatened the twins with the intension to revisit his will, and make Mia his sole successor of his wealth, that’s why the twins planned to kill him before he was able to do that. But unfortunately for them, he was brought to the hospital quickly and I was his attending.“Thank you for your help, doctor.” Mr. Johnson smiled. “For saving my life, and for helping me.”“I am only doing my job.” An awkward smile crept on my face.Hopefully after the questioning, the police will find the twins guilty and they will be locked up—for good. I stretched my body, my both arms above my head and I heard the crac

Eden’s Point of View“Are you okay?” I heard Lola’s voice as she came out from the kitchen, I sighed before nodding my head—she looked confused. We both sat down on the couch in awkward silence while I just think about the right thing to do…it’s true that I cannot trust anybody—Theron might be using me, and his mother is no better. But at the very least, I need to be able to make a decision that would turn out beneficial for me; I cannot lose on both sides.“If you’re not comfortable with having me around I think I should just leave.” Unable to bear the tension in the room, Lola blurted, she seemed uneasy too.I mean I would feel the same if I visit my friend whom I just met recently, and the first thing I am witnessing is her mother-in-law threatening her, and spilling all the family’s dark secret.“There is no need for you to leave.” I pulled her back to sit, and once more silence overwhelmed us.“You must have guessed, Theron and I didn’t have a normal marriage.” I confessed, I had

Eden’s Point of ViewThere was a stiff look on Theron’s face, one that I had never seen before, his eyes were cold and cutting as always but also hollow as if there was no life behind them. He stared down at me with obvious restraint; I noticed a muscle tightened in his jaw.He must really hate being assaulted so much, oh how I wish he would unhand me, so I can smack him again?“I demand an apology; else I will behave very badly with you.” Forgetting my fear, I almost scoffed at the threat, his grip on my arms tightened and I felt my teeth grit together—well, there is indeed one thing we have in common; and that is stubbornness.I am the one who was lied to, manipulated, stalked, harassed, and watched, but somehow, I’m the one who is supposed to apologize to him? Over my fucking dead body.“What are you going to do?” I teased, squaring my shoulders and locking eyes with him, even though I was trembling. “You are not the only one who doesn’t like their personal space crossed.”The look

Theron’s Point of ViewThere is something in the way Eden sobbed that seemed to bring out something inside me, as though a light was switched on, I didn’t feel guilt—hell I even know what the word means, but she was right about one thing, she didn’t deserve being on the receiving end of the emotional backlash of my climbing to the top.I want to believe that it was her fault for being too soft, too emotional, too understanding—but at the same time I should be grateful that she is, it is only because she is like that, that I am able to take advantage of her.So, at the very least, I could show her a shred of my pity, I pulled her into a hug, palming her hair that feels like silk in between my fingers; rich in volume and sheen. The scent of her perfume, a powdery, flower-like scent filled my nose—feminine and soft, smells like the roses mingled with the air of the beach.I liked it.“I’m sorry—” I muttered, even though I didn’t feel sorry, I understand those were the words she could use

Eden’s Point of ViewI stepped into the living room, clutching the wine bottle in my left hand, my eyes quickly flickered towards Theron who was seated on the couch—I didn’t even think he would be awake, this is just barely past 7A.M in the morning. He was dressed in loose pants and sleeveless tank top. My eyes skidded towards his heavy biceps, and down to his fore arms that were beautifully adorned and webbed with thick veins.I felt my heart tightened inside my chest because this man was so good looking, and to know that this good-looking man belonged to me—My heart stopped in my chest. Woah! Woah! Eden, hold your horses, this man doesn’t belong to you. I corrected myself quickly, all these battles happened internally in the last one second. No matter where he is, no matter what he is doing, Theron looked incredibly good—he was reading something from his iPad, wearing reading glasses, and his hair was held in a manbun.‘Fuck me.’ I muttered underneath my breath, and as if Theron not
