“Mother… I wish this day would never end. I don’t know what’s gotten into Dark—he even planned a surprise.” Roxane said with a smile as she ate, the sparkle in her eyes unmistakable. Beth, meanwhile, could only stare at Roxane, lost in thought. Is she happy? Should I crush the happiness she’s feeling?
