DRAVEN“Rory, come back!” I yelled. Rory giggled, running toward the flowers, her laughter echoing in the garden. “Catch me if you can, love,” Rory’s sweet voice drifted to my ears. I chuckled as I ran after her. Her laughter has always felt like a fairy’s twinkle dust and her voice sounded so beautiful. I caught up with her as I tackled her to the floor. She laughed and kissed me, the wind blowing her hair across her face as I tried to tuck it by the side of her ears. “This wind is strong today,” Rory commented.I kissed her forehead, “I love it like this.”Rory’s twinkling eyes suddenly dimmed as she scrambled away from her, her eyes wide with horror. “No, get away from me!” she screamed suddenly.
