ZANDRA POV   To say that I was terrified was the understatement of the year! I can’t believe that I was dragged into all this bulls**t because of that self-centered conniving B***H! My wolf has never liked Zoey or her wolf since she first came to me! I ignored it because she was the only person to befriend me when I first came here. I knew that Zoey was not originally from this pack, and she told me that she was only here as some sort of student transfer program between different packs. At first, things were good, she was like the best friend that I always wanted, but once we entered high school she began to change. First it was subtle things like how she began to criticize the way that I dressed. I could not wear clothes that looked better on me than on her. I had to wear very light make-up if I wore any at all. Then, by our junior year, I basically became her assistant. She stopped treating me like a friend

THADDEUS 'TEDDY' POV   “Teddy?!” She asked with wide, fearful eyes. I was still shocked that she was standing in front of me! I had always been attracted to her in high school. I was disappointed when she allowed herself to be treated like a slave by the pack slut! I always felt protective over her but never understood why, until now. My wolf, Loki, instantly accepted her as our mate. I was pulled out of my shock when Vex placed her hands on my back in a possessive manner. Loki pushed for control so fast that I was too late in stopping him. He spun around and had her wrist in a vice grip that felt like he was breaking a bone. “If you EVER touch me like that again I will rip your arm off and beat you to death with it!” He then threw her hand away, forcefully. WHAT THE HELL MAN?! I was so angry with him!

THADDEUS 'TEDDY' POV CONT'D   She heaved a defeated sigh. “It was supposed to be the best party of the year. It was supposed to be fun. I was already uneasy due to how weird Zoey had been acting the past couple of weeks. She was way more critical of me and how I dressed, my lack of make-up. She knew that I was that way because of her but blamed me anyway. It was her rules that left me looking like a hobo most of the time! I had a feeling that something was going to happen, but I simply ignored my feelings. After all, her highness needed assistance when she arrived. She went off down the hallway and ordered me to get her a drink. I did as requested and walked down the same hallway to find her in the last room in that hallway.” She took a drink of water, and my uneasiness grew. I had been alone with the bitch, unwillingly on my part. Zandra smirked at the look on my fa

PAULETTE POV  The next morning I found myself alone in bed, so I assumed that Rolls must be helping either Braxton with preparing for Zoey's sentencing or helping Christian with training the warriors. I was a little upset because I woke up alone, but I also understood that there will be mornings when I wake up alone or nights where I go to bed without him because he is still helping our alpha with pack business, so I quickly showered...well, as quickly as someone who is the size of a blue whale can move. It is taking a bit longer for me to do any simple tasks lately. If it is not the twins' constant kicks, punches, or rolling around; it's the back aches or the joint pain! I love my babies but not so much the pains and aches and emotional rollarcoasters that accompany pregnancy. I quickly dried off as my stomach growled, loudly. I rolled my eyes as I walked into the closet and grabbed a pair of black leggings with lavender skulls all

PAULETTE POV CONT'D   He took his seat next to Rolls and left the seat next to him and Chris empty, that was the Luna's seat. There were so many people that they filled up the table and the surrounding areas to the point that there was barely standing room! I noticed a man in his 40's making his way towards the table and trying to force an elderly woman that was sitting next to me to move and give him her seat. I was shocked and appalled at this man! I quickly reached out and held the woman's hand so that she did not do as he ordered. I did not recognize him, but his aura gave me the creeps. I glared at him. "Sir, if you had arrived sooner then you would have had a seat. My friend here, will remain seated while you find somewhere to stand." He became very red in the face as anger flashed in his eyes. He was so pissed off that he was stuttering. "H-how DARE y-you!" I heard Rolls
