~Esperanza's POV~ My hands clutched my bags. My heart raced in my chest. I felt like running away but I was in the car. There was no such option like that! But when my eyes fell on Diego who walked out of the store while being on a call with someone, I released a sigh of relief. "A text would've saved me from a panic attack," I said as I walked towards him. "Sorry, I forgot. Are you ok?" He politely asked. I hummed. Now, I am. The store felt cold, dark, and obviously, empty. The feeling of this place was similar to the one where I stayed for two days, tied to a rope. Chills traveled through my body. Goosebumps erupted on my hands. Luckily, I was wearing a shirt so my fear wasn't visible to Diego. "Apologies for calling you to a place like this but I didn't find any other suitable place to talk.
