THIRD PERSON POVSilas's hand lowered away from his ear and fell on the bed. His phone had been in his hand and he had just received some news that was making his stomach very hot. How did things always end up going so wrong? For once, why couldn't things not just go according to his plan? It was like they were untouchable all of a sudden. He had put in so much to see to it that they ruined their lives and made them pay for what they did to him but nothing was working. And as if that was not enough, he just received another news. Another of his plans had failed all because of that little witch. Why was she just ruining things for him? Why couldn't she just stay out of it completely? He had to do something about her, take her out of the picture as quickly as possible so that he could sleep peacefully again. But she was tough and she could always see things coming from a thousand miles and that's how she gets to stop them. Her senses are always at alert. He got out of bed and put o

XAVIER“Hey Mia, they have the blue slurpee that you- Mia? Mia?” The car was empty and the other car door was open and she was nowhere close to the car. The men were around so I went to the other side of the car. “Where is Mia? She's not in the car.” The look on their faces let me.know that they also didn't know either. I ran back into the gas station immediately, going to the bathroom to see if she had gone there to use it but the stalls were empty. My mind was going blank already. We just left the house, Xerxes warned me to be careful and never take my eyes off her. Gosh, I just left for a few minutes, how would she be missing already? The guards met with me in the store. “She's not around the premises, sir. We checked.”I didn't even know when I grabbed his collar and brought him close to me. “Are you crazy? Don't you think I know she's not here? Look for her damn it! Search everywhere, tear down the store!” The receptionist finally looked up from his phone. “Woah, don't

MIAXavier was in the room when I woke up. In fact, I was resting on his chest, listening to his light snores that filled the quiet room. The sun wasn't as harsh as it had been the other day when it almost melted us to the ground so I figured that we weren't still in the same day or at least in the same area. I raised my head and sat up in the bed, stretching my body and letting all my bones crack. I sounded like a mummy that hadn't moved in a thousand years with how many bones cracked. My body was stiff and hurt in a couple of places. What was going on? Why was this happening? My mind flashed a couple of times but I couldn't make sense at all of any of it..I got out of bed to get the cup of water that was resting on the table. My legs felt like jelly but I made my way there. “You're awake.”I gulped the last drop of water before I turned around. “Yes, I am.”He got out of bed immediately and walked over to me, pulling me in for a very tight hug. He remained silent and just hel

MIAFrom the way he responded, I could already tell that the conversation was not going the way I wanted it. “Silas?! What did that bastard tell you this time around? What the hell did he say to you? Did he lie to you and say that he took you? Why would I ever allow that? Except there's a time where he killed me and took you, then I don't think it's possible. Silas always came to the house. He was never able to take you away. Tell me Mia, what did you see in the vision?” I told him everything that I saw, telling him how I felt and looked and even what I was wearing. It didn't make sense to me. “At first, I would have sworn that I was the one in the vision but when I looked down at my feet to get myself out of the chains, I didn't feel that way anymore. It felt like my consciousness in another body. It doesn't make sense. I have to find out whose body I was in and how I ended up there.” I was too busy thinking out loud that I didn't notice my dad had gone quiet since. I could hear

MIAMost of the papers were concerning the pack and things he needed to sign or just some scrap that he had refused to throw away. His table was neatly arranged with no piece of paper even out of place. It looked like it was dropped from the sky earlier, and even if I breathed wrong, the whole thing would scatter. Well, he would surely be coming home for a surprise. Down to his stationary, everything was placed in two. Why not three? The huge table in the middle of the room held no emotion or pictures. From beginning to end, there was no picture of Xavier or of his mum. However behind him, there was a huge portrait of him telling me just how vain the sick bastard was, how much valued no one else but himself. It was sickening to see a father put himself so highly above his only son. There were four more pictures of him in that room and seeing his son made me want to throw up. I continued through my search, picking up paper after paper to see if there was anything interesting and
