Lahat ng Kabanata ng Luna Of The Lost Bloodline : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Freya’s POVI felt the familiar, gentle weight of someone's arms around me as my eyes opened. I was surrounded by warmth, which instantly calmed my pounding heart. Kane. It was the arms of Kane."Freya." His voice was tremulous and low, full of worry. "Are you conscious? Are you alright?I tried to concentrate by blinking. I couldn't recall when or why I had fallen asleep, but my body felt heavy as if I had been asleep for days. The last thing I remembered was the power spiralling out of control and the wild energy inside of me. The shadows..."Kane?" I could hardly speak above a whisper.I could feel his chest rise and fall with a long breath as his hold tightened around me. He mumbled to himself, "Thank the gods."I tried to sit up as I moved in his arms. I straightened myself after a moment of my head spinning. The agony of the chains had subsided, but I still felt a dull aching that was a warning from deep inside of me. The magic. I could still feel it whirling inside of me, but i

Freya’s POVThe energy of the relic hummed against my flesh as it pulsed in my hands. It was a dark stone with glowing inscriptions that seemed to change when I wasn't staring at them; it was both beautiful and disturbing. As I gazed at it and felt its strength seeping into my bones, my heart raced.I got a flashback to the previous vision: the price I would have to pay, the pack burning, Kane falling. Was this the solution? Was this artefact the thing that would destroy us all, or was it the means to breaking the curse? In an attempt to calm myself, I inhaled deeply. I said to myself, "I must do this."I closed my eyes and placed my trembling fingers around the artefact. The world appeared to change the instant I did. A sudden, uncontrollable burst of energy swept over me. The air around me sparked with power, and the ground shook beneath me. I was barely able to hold onto the relic as it was reacting and feeding off me."Freya!" From behind me, I heard Kane's worried voice. The ener

Freya’s POVTension permeated the air. Sophia had shown up unexpectedly during our meeting, and the pack was standing around observing her. Her presence was oppressive, and I could see the discomfort in each wolf's eyes. Sophia was a strong witch, and it seemed that the light was absorbed by her very being, leaving behind nothing but icy blackness. With a tone akin to a death sentence, Sophia said, "You've had your fun, Freya." Her eyes did not meet her icy, derisive grin. "But this needs to stop now."Despite the fear that was eating at me, I stood tall. "Sophia, we will not bow to you."She drew closer, her power radiating out, pushing everyone back as her lips twisted into a grin. Her tone was beautiful but deadly as she replied, "Oh, Freya, I'm not asking you to bow." "I'm offering you an option. Three days. You have three days to give up, or I'll ruin all of your hard work. Your loved ones, the pack, everything.Beside me, I could feel Kane tensing up, his fists balled at his sid

Freya’s POVI woke up in a cold, dark room. The air was thick, and I could smell the scent of old magic, the kind that made my skin crawl. My head felt heavy, and my body was sore, but I couldn’t let myself relax. I had to focus. The sound of footfall resonated in the solitude, and suddenly the door cracked open. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her: Sophia. Her black eyes glittered with triumph, and she smiled maliciously as she went inside."So, you're awake," she said, her voice cold and mocking. "I must admit, I’m impressed. I thought you would be much easier to break."I stood up slowly, ignoring the pain that shot through my body. I wouldn’t let her see my weakness. "You’re wasting your time, Sophia. You're not going to prevail."Sophia's voice reverberated off the walls as she laughed. I see that you still don't get it, Freya. I've already triumphed. This is only the start. Her steps were purposeful as she walked around me. "You have always been a pain in my side, along with

Freya’s POVThere was a lot of dust in the air, and I could hear the grotesque creature growling. As Kane tightened his hold around my waist and drew me in, my heart raced in my chest. We were confined. The beast towered over us, its eyes glowing with a terrible glare. Its scales shimmered in the dim light, and its massive claws scraped against the stone floor. Every breath it took sounded like thunder.I knew we had to fight, but how? Even though I could still sense Sophia's black magic power, I was resolved not to let it rule me once more."We can’t let it get us," Kane said, his voice low and filled with resolve. "We have to stop it, Freya."I nodded, my eyes riveted on the thing. The air felt heavy, as though the world itself was holding its breath. Then, with a deafening roar, the creature lunged at us.Kane pushed me back, his body protecting mine. "Stay behind me," with that command. However, I had no intention of remaining in the background. I had come too far. I needed to fig
