Semua Bab Her Billionaire Ex-Husband’s Regret : Bab 101 - Bab 110

“Thank you for coming back to save the show” Jane wrapped me in a hug once the camera cut, she acted very comfortable with me like she had known me for a long time and that made me feel comfortable.I believed that she didn’t know about Lianna or me before she agreed to have us both on it, so I couldn't be mad at her or hold it against her, but a little bit of research would have taken care of that.“Hi” Lianna's voice rang in my ear as she stood across us with arms wrapped over her chest“What does it take to donate to your foundation?” Lianna asked, her voice smooth, practiced. “I have seen the work you do, and my husband… I don’t know if you know him, because you are not from around here but no one from here doesn’t know the name Axel Alistair” she bragged“But in case you don’t, my husband, Axel Alistair, CEO of Ace Group, is very big on charity. We have a foundation of our own, but we also like to support smaller foundations like yours” she laughed “So you could have your team

“How did you see it?” I asked “How do you have a video of it?” “You just said you don't know what I am talking about, didn't you”?“I don't know how this got out okay” I ran my hand through my hair in frustration“I made sure no cameras were recording, I didn’t know” I slumped into the couch yanking my hair, I played the video again and from the angle of the video it looked like it was filmed from a corner. There was no audio in the video it was only after she fell to the ground and started fake apologizing.“That bitch did this, she pushed me to the wall to get a reaction out of me” I jumped to my feet slamming the phone on the table “She was insulting me and calling you all sorts of names, I couldn't just do nothing!” “How was she able to use your plan against you?” Axel asked“All of a sudden it is my plan, yeah?” I glared at him“Go on, go ahead like always put the blame on me” I shot at him“That is not what I'm trying to sa—You know what?” he stopped halfway “The video has be

RAEI felt on top of the world for turning the tables in such a dramatic way and that wasn't all I was able to get a video recording from it. I had her manager, who was out to get her make a video of our interaction and that was it.It was up to her to do whatever she wanted with it. I assumed she was going to post it on social media or use it as a bargaining chip to get her job back.Whatever the case was going to be. I was just over the moon that I was able to get her before she got to me.I wasn't some easy target and I was able to make that very clear.“Hey leaving already?” I turned around and it was Jane Langley walking towards me“Well I have to get back to work” I said“Thank you for doing this” she smiled“The feedback we are getting is amazing, we have got loads of interest to join the movement with numerous people calling the hotline and it is all thanks to you” she said“I don't think that's true” I laughed “I basically told them off”“They like your authenticity” she said

RAEI had to soak in what Jane had told me. I recognized from the beginning that her absence was going to become a continuous pattern and that was exactly what happened. Almost as if I was begging her to do her job knowing nothing was going to happen about it.I dialed the front desk to confirm if Joan showed up to work“Front desk speaking” Liv’s voice came through“Hey Liv, did Joan show up today?” I asked“Erm yes—yes she did” she saidI let out a sigh of relief happy that she actually showed up“Alright that's good” I said“Could you pass information to all staff members?” I asked“Yes Miss what would that be?” she asked“Everyone should gather in the board room for a quick meeting” I said“Right away” she said before ending the callIt was long overdue. It had been over a month since the opening of the gallery and my working as the director. The same goes for most of the staff members. They began work after the gallery was officially opened. So I decided to briefly do that during

RAE“I didn't ask if you are a staff or not I asked you to leave” I repeated and she didn't move an inch and just stared me in the eyes like she was daring me to do my worst.Everyone froze with their eyes darting around waiting to see what I was going to do and how I was going to react. My heart pounded in my ears, my eyes twitching. I was seconds away from having a panic attack.“This is a workspace, you were hired to do a job. You can't act how you like” I said“I have explained why I didn't show up” she said“To whom?” I asked“HR knows about it” she sounded annoyed that I was even questioning her“Mrs Doyle, you have been aware of a staff member being negligent towards their job and I didn't hear a word about it?” I turned to the HR“W-we-wel-” she began to stutter “I only stepped out for a few minutes” Joan said “I don't know why you are being difficult” she mumbled the last part but everyone heard that and I could swear I heard someone gasp.Exactly what I didn't want to be fo
