CHAPTER 11: The Ex FactorTRENTONI heard the commotion downstairs before I saw him. There were loud and welcoming voices in the foyer. Eudora was laughing. Someone unfamiliar responded. Bronwyn grabbed my arm. "I have to go down there." "Wait a minute." "He can't see us coming from your room together." She was right. I waited thirty seconds after she left before following. The party was still going. People mingled in the living room with drinks and plates of food. I made my way to the entrance and stopped. A man stood in the doorway. He was tall and well dressed. He had his hand on Bronwyn's shoulder while Eudora talked excitedly. "Dad!" Eudora waved me over. "This is Huxley. Bronwyn's boyfriend from Boston." "Ex boyfriend," Bronwyn said quickly. She stepped away from his touch. Hux

CHAPTER 12: Breakfast and BetrayalsBRONWYNThe cafe was busy for the day after Christmas. Families crowded around tables. The smell of coffee and pancakes filled the air. I spotted Huxley at a corner booth near the window. He stood when I approached. "Bronwyn. Thanks for coming." "I said I'd hear you out." We sat and ordered coffee. The waitress left menus but neither of us looked at them. "You look good," Huxley said. "Different somehow." "It's only been a few weeks." "I know. But something's changed." He leaned forward. "I've been thinking a lot since you left, about us and about what I did wrong." "Huxley." "Please. Let me finish." He took a breath. "I took you for granted. I got comfortable and stopped trying. That was wrong. You deserved better." The waitress came back wi

CHAPTER 13: Freedom and RiskTRENTON The house felt different without everyone else in it. Bronwyn stood in my bedroom doorway looking uncertain. "I should probably go to the guest room." "Why?" "I don't know. It feels weird just assuming." I pulled back the covers on my side of the bed. "Stay." She crossed the room and climbed in next to me. I turned off the lamp and pulled her close. Her head rested on my chest. My arm wrapped around her waist. "This is nice," she whispered. "Yeah." We lay there in the dark listening to each other breathe. There was no sneaking around or fear of getting caught. It was just us. "What happens when Christmas ends?" she asked. "When I go back to Boston?" I'd been avoiding that question for days. "I don't know."

Chapter fourteen - Worshipping her bodyTrenton's POVI did. She moaned into the kiss as I pulled her flush against me, her legs wrapping around my hips. My hands roamed her curves greedily, gripping her ass and pulling her center against the bulge rapidly swelling in my slacks. She ground against me, rubbing her heated core along the hard length of my shaft. "Fuck, you feel so good," I growled, nipping at her bottom lip. "I need to be inside you. Right now." She fumbled with my belt, yanking it open and undoing my fly. I shrugged off my suit jacket and unbuttoned my shirt, never breaking the desperate, searing kiss. She ran her hands over my bare chest, nails raking lightly across my skin as she tugged my shirt free from my waistband. I tugged her blouse up over her head and unfastened her bra with deft fingers, revealing her perfect, full breasts. I cupped them, thumbing

CHAPTER 15: The Blackmail BeginsBRONWYNI stared at the photo on Trenton's phone. My stomach turned. Someone had been watching us and taking pictures. "Who sent this?" My voice shook. "I don't know. The number's blocked." I stood and started pacing. "Someone was at the cabin, during the storm. They saw us." "Bronwyn." "They were right outside the window, taking pictures while we were together." Trenton grabbed my shoulders. "Look at me. We're going to figure this out." Another text came through. He looked at the screen and his expression went dark. "What does it say?" He handed me the phone. *Mr. Grayson would like to revisit your conversation. He's prepared to be more persuasive.* "Stellan." Trenton's voice was cold. "He hired someone

Trenton's POVThis time was different from all the desperate, frenzied encounters before. I took my time, worshipping every inch of her skin with my mouth. I kissed down her neck, tasting the salt of her tears. I nuzzled into the crook of her neck, breathing in the scent of her skin. She gasped as I cupped her breast, feeling her nipple harden under my touch. I squeezed gently, thumbing the hardened peak."You're so beautiful," I growled, kissing down her chest. "I could look at you for hours."She blushed, biting her lip. "You make me feel beautiful," she whispered.I smiled, kissing her again. My hand slid down her body, pushing under the hem of the shirt. I cupped her sex, feeling the heat radiating from her core."You're so wet," I groaned. "I love how much you want me."She whimpered, her hips bucking against my hand. I circled her clit, feeling her quiver under my touch."Please," she begged. "I need you."I pulled my hand away, leaving her wanting. I kissed down her body, tasti

BRONWYN"We should tell her ourselves," Trenton said, still holding my hand in his office. "Right now, before Stellan can."My stomach dropped. "What? No. She'll hate us.""She'll hate us more if she finds out from some blackmailer sending her photos." He stood and started pacing. "We need to control this and tell her on our terms.""Our terms?" I stood too, my voice rising. "There are no good terms for telling your best friend you've been sleeping with her father behind her back.""So what's your plan? Wait until Stellan sends her the photos and hope she's understanding?""I want to tell her in person," I said. "She deserves that, not a phone call, not finding out from a stranger, she deserves to hear it from us face to face."Trenton ran his hands through his hair. "Fine. When?""I don't know." I pulled out my phone with shaking hands. "Let me call her and find out when she's coming home."I dialed Eudora, my heart pounding so hard I could barely hear the rings."Hey!" She answered

BRONWYNBut Trenton wasn't listening, he pulled me into the elevator and hit the button for his floor. The moment the doors closed he was on me, mouth claiming mine in a bruising kiss. "You're mine," he growled against my lips. "Not his. Mine." "I know," I gasped as his hands gripped my hips. "I'm yours." We barely made it back to his office before he had me bent over his desk, my skirt shoved up around my waist and his fingers working my panties aside. "Say it again," he demanded, his belt buckle clinking as he freed himself. "I'm yours," I moaned. "Only yours, Trenton please—" He thrust into me in one hard stroke, his hand coming up to cover my mouth because Brilliana was right outside and we were being reckless again but I didn't care."I know," I gasped, arching into him. "I'm yours." He pulled away, gripping my hi

The Calm Before TRENTON I didn't sleep. All night I sat in my study with my laptop and phone, making calls across time zones, chasing down the final pieces I needed to close the Pinehaven deal. If I could get this locked down before Stellan's deadline, it wouldn't matter what photos he had because his company would be finished. At six in the morning Jericho called. "We're close. There's three more board signatures and it's done." "How long?" "If everyone cooperates? It should be by the end of day. Maybe sooner." "Make it sooner." I rubbed my eyes, exhaustion pulling at me. "I need this closed by eight tonight." "That's aggressive even for you." He paused. "What's really going on, Trenton?" "Just close it, Jericho. Whatever it takes." Brilliana arrived at seven looking more tir

TRENTONI started with teasing, my free hand roaming down her body, skirting her inner thighs without mercy. I brushed my knuckles along the slick folds of her pussy, but pulled back each time she whimpered and bucked toward me. 'Not yet, baby,' I murmured, nipping at her earlobe. 'I want you dripping for me, begging before I give you what you need.' She squirmed under my hold, her breaths coming in short pants as I circled her clit, dipping just the tip of a finger into her entrance to spread her wetness around. Her pussy clenches around air, juices coating my fingers as I finally pressed two inside her, curling them slow and deep to stroke that spot that made her cry out. 'Fuck, you're so wet already,' I said, my thumb rubbing firm circles over her swollen clit while I pumped my fingers in and out, the wet sounds filling the room. 'This cunt's aching for my cock, isn't it? Tell me how bad you want it.' Tears of frustration and pleasure slipped down her
