After the unexpected turn of events at Andronikos' lair last night, Vaelora had returned to their chambers, sapped off her energy. It was understandable, seeing as she was shifting for the first time in years. Her body had managed to seize control from her wolf, who was very excited to be back after such a long time of dormancy. "Draekon..... You'll keep to your word and let me go. Won't you?" Vaelora asked. Draekon looked away, unsure how he felt in that moment. It was definitely not a deliberate decision of his, to have promised her such freedom. He would never do that. He could never let her go, knowing how badly he wished to consume her very soul. "You should find a way out, first. Until then, Vaelora." He muttered coldly, gently prodding his horse to take a turn back in the direction of the royal House. Vaelora reluctantly followed him behind, not sure why she felt confused. He had given her the answer she wanted to hear, but why did it feel as though he wasn't going to keep to his word? Much worse, why did the thought of being caged by Draekon, make her pulse race? While Draekon rode away, he couldn't help but think back to the day he had given Vaelora that stupid chance at leaving.
