Wren's POV Today was the day I had been waiting for, the day I had been planning for, the day I become the official Luna of the Black moon pack. To say that I waa anxious was an overstatement, anxiety was pouring out of every pore in my body and I felt like I was seconds away from an anxiety attack. The ceremony was in the night and it was still morning. Wren's POV It was a man, a stranger I didn't recognise, he stood with his hands behind his back, baring his teeth at us in a leering grin. He looked rough and unkempt. The wind blew past me and a rotten scent wafted past me, the smell of rogues. The man was a rogue.In an instant, the pack warriors had him surrounded, but he appeared unaffected by the menacing look they wore. Caelum pushed me gently behind him, the man smiled at the gesture. “Who the fuck are you?” Caelum snarled at the rogue, his canines dropped.“Ah, who I am doesn't matter. Wren's POV My consciousness trickled in slow, hazy waves. Bit by bit my senses awakened until I became dimly aware of the dull ache spreading through my body. It hurt so much to even twitch a finger so I stayed still. I laid there, wondering every minute, if this was how I was going to die.Time blurred and soon the pain dulled enough for me to move. With a quiet groan leaving my lips, I slowly pushed myself into a more comfortable sitting position, my body trembling with the effort.It was then i saw it, my white gown streaked with blood as though a massacre had happened on the fabric.
