By the time she actually got to eat her breakfast, Chrissie’s composure was stretched to all new level. It was the little things that got to her. The girl at the front counter of Cracker Barrel’s restaurant directed them to a table near a window and asked, “How’s this?” And Race turned to Chrissie and said, ‘Is this okay with you, or would the sunlight bother you?”She didn’t say anything. She just sat down and kept her mouth shut.
