Chapter oneSophie’s POV“Goodnight!” I yelled at my coworker with a bright smile on my face.We were all the happiest we had ever been since we started working here. Fit the first time in months, we got a raise. I was the happiest out of everyone thoughMom needed the money for her medications, and with the raise, the burden would be lessened a bit. I opened the door of the restaurant where I worked as a waitress, but just as I was about to walk out, someone called my name from inside.I waved and smiled on seeing that it was one of my other coworkers who was bading me goodbye.
