Chapter 1

I, Elena Costa, was sick of watching them put on an act. Placing my hands on the wheels of my wheelchair, I prepared to leave. Upon catching sight of my actions, Luca Romano rushed over and grabbed the handlebars of my wheelchair. Leaning down, he asked concernedly, "Why are you leaving all of a sudden? Luca's words made my heart stop beating for a moment. He was holding my visa documents for Bellavia. I lied casually to Luca's horrified expression. "Nonna missed me and would like me to spend some time with her for a bit." "But this happened out of nowhere. Why didn't you tell me, Elena?" Luca wetted his dry lips.
