All Chapters of The Sin Behind His Door: Chapter 101 - Chapter 110

"Careful, you're going to wake the children," I heard Jake’s voice through the crack in the door. It was low, lacking the usual heat he carried when he spoke to her in private. "When did you start caring about the children being awake when we have sex?" Mom queried. I could hear the confusion in her voice, the slight rustle of sheets as she shifted. "You always said you loved it when I moaned out loud. You said it made you feel powerful.""I think I’d prefer you quieter now," Jake replied. His voice sounded strained, almost bored. "The kids deserve some peace of their own for a change."I stood frozen in the dark hallway, my stomach turning. I watched as Mom leaned over him, trying to peer into his eyes to see if this was actually the same man. Usually, when they were together, Jake was loud. He was performative. He used to make sure his voice echoed through the house, and I realized earlier that he had been doing it for me. He had been marking his territory with her just to mess wit

"Yuna!!!" The door to my room flew off its hinges. Jake barged in like a storm and fury that looked ready to shatter at any second. I had just stepped out of the shower, wrapped in nothing but a thin towel that felt far too small under the weight of his gaze. I had planned to rest, but the moment I saw the fire in his eyes, I knew sleep was the last thing I was going to get tonight. He marched over and grabbed my arms, hauling me up from the edge of the bed so I was forced to stand. And I liked it, I liked the way he stormed in, I'm supposed to keep him on his toes like this. He was breathing hard, "What was the meaning of what you did back there with Drake?" he hissed, his voice vibrating with a dangerous edge. This is exactly how he should react, memories of the afternoon filled my head, I had just torn away from Drake at the field and I saw the way his eyes twisted in anger. When the music started, Gina, Stephanie, Sera, and I had taken our positions. I hadn't practiced the rout

And I began to move on top of him, the water aiding the movement with a rhythmic, heavy slosh against the sides of the tub. My heart was pounding so hard I could feel the vibration in the back of my throat. The bathroom was thick with steam, the mirrors completely blinded by a white haze, sealing us into this moment, a moment where my mom and Drake won't dare get to us. I wish they wouldn't...I gripped his broad shoulders, my fingernails digging into his wet skin as I arched my back. The buoyancy of the water made every downward press feel deeper, more consuming. I could feel the raw power in his thighs as he held me steady, his muscles tensed like iron cords beneath the surface. Jake’s eyes were fixed on me, never flitting away for even a second. "That's my girl..." He aided me, the sway of my body caused my breasts to bobble in the dim light, glistening with droplets of warm water. Jake’s breath tight, a lustful sound catching in his chest. He reached up, his hands trembling sligh

"I'm sorry Aubrey, I should've known better..." "That's not my question Brendan, Jake paid you to be in love with me, date me and ..." "It wasn't like that at first, I swear, I fell for you and I know..." I decided to take another step back, trying to breathe. There was no way I was going to wrap my head around what was going on right now. It felt like the ground had turned into quicksand. "You’re saying that Jake... he made you date me?"Suddenly, everything shifted. That explains the footage the unknown number sent me the last time. That explains why Jake was with Brendan, talking in that quiet, intense way. I’ve imagined so many things happening between them, but I never imagined that Jake could have known so much about Brendan, or that he was the one pulling the strings from the very beginning."When?" I asked. My voice sounded hollow, like it was coming from someone else. It seemed to be the only thing I wanted to hear right now."Aubrey...""When did you both meet up and plan

"Mom!!! How could you hit him like that!!!" I yelled immediately rushing over to his side. I hadn't meant to do that but all my anger, frustration, anxiety seemed to die when that slap hit and Jake looked more lost than alive.  Seeing the sharp, violent snap of Jake’s head and the way he looked more lost than alive in that flickering hallway light shattered my resolve. I reached out, my fingers hovering near the blooming heat on his cheek. "I'm fine," Jake said, his voice level despite the raw mark on his face. He caught my hand before I could touch the bruise, his grip firm but strangely distant. "It doesn't hurt." He didn't look at me; he was looking at Mom, warming up a hollow, performative smile that didn't reach his cold eyes. "Can you leave, Yuna? This is between me and your mother." I froze. Those words, spoken with such clinical precision, made me feel c
