I PULLED AT THE strings in front of me, untangling them and giving the nightmare lords back control over their bodies. Most of them think it is the nightmare master controlling them. I guess he still is since he's telling me what to do. Maybe I should feel regret about doing this, or perhaps disgust. Of course, after cutting out my own emotions, I feel nothing.I don't know how word of my abilities got out. Most, if not everyone, knew me as the useless blind kid born to an important family. No one, not even my family, knew that despite me being blind, I can still see things. These things are what I call strings. It's a little hard to explain, but I guess I can still try.Strings are something everyone has, and each of them represents their emotions among other things. When I move the strings in a certain way, I can control someone's body completely. IT WAS A LITTLE hard to believe that he did that just for show; actually; it was downright impossible. He can't hide his emotions from me even without his strings; it wasn't hard to tell what his emotions are. He's an open book, a complex one for sure, but still an open book. To see the world the way he sees it would be quite interesting. I mean, everyone sees the world in their own way.What one person considers wrong or unethical, another considers completely fine. Which is why I would like to get a glimpse into the nightmare master’s mind. Does he see what he's done as something that was deserved? I focus on those thoughts, wondering what they meant. I mean, sure, the Nightmare Master has done so many bad things; however, it wasn't those things that my thoughts were talking about.I tried to grasp that train of thought to figure out what it meant, but it was gone as if I had never been there in the first place. MY HEAD WAS IN pain because it felt like someone was pulling my mind tighter and tighter, and if they didn't let go soon, it was going to snap. I couldn't do anything about it either since I was still under the nightmare Master’s control, performing for these rich socialites or should I say sadistic assholes. What Doc doesn't realize is that his ability works, and where most of them are freaks, the nightmare master can't stand the sight of, since they are useless. I HAVEN'T CRIED IN years because, well, crying really wouldn't make a difference. I was stuck in this situation no matter what I did. Of course, that didn't stop the tears from falling; actually, it made even more tears fall. For a second there was only silence, and I thought those two had left, not that I had much time to think about them, since Frequency's voice filled the surrounding room.“So, not trying to be rude, Ring, but can you stop crying?
