Then suddenly I felt I heard a loud sound and something hit me sending a sharp pain up my arm into my brain.I yelled as I fell to the ground. I raised my hand to see blood. Was I just shot? And Aldric, how would he feel if I was dead? Would he be able to survive without me?I could hear something yelling my name as I began to feel myself go numb. Is this really the end?Maybe I shouldn't have complained so much, I would have been at home with Aldric and my little boy watching a movie instead of being here cold and alone, only to put everyone in misery and pain. And slowly the darkness
